## What is Dozer?

Dozer turns your night into a morning you can actually read — with a watch or ring, or with nothing but your iPhone.

Apple Health shows the raw numbers. Dozer is the layer on top: a plain-language morning report, your sleep debt over time, an energy forecast for the day, snore detection with playback (Dozer+), streaks that never guilt you, and a silent wrist alarm that picks a light-sleep moment before your set time — you wake gently, and nobody else in the bed wakes at all.

NO WEARABLE? DOZER STILL WORKS
• Dozer builds an estimated night from what your iPhone already noticed — the in-bed record your Apple sleep schedule keeps, an overnight Night Listening session, or both
• One tap confirms the window, or you adjust it yourself — you stay the authority on your own night
• Time in bed, your morning check-in, your tags and what the night sounded like, all on the same card
• Estimated nights appear in Trends as lighter bars and count toward bedtime consistency
• No sleep score, sleep stages or heart rate on an estimated night — those come from a sensor on your body, and Dozer doesn't invent them. Sleep debt, streaks and the energy curve are built on the score, so they wait for a tracker too
• If a tracker later reports the same night, it replaces the estimate

A tracker adds more: any watch, ring or band that saves sleep to Apple Health — Apple Watch, Oura, Whoop, Withings, Garmin, Polar, Amazfit — brings sleep stages, overnight heart rate and HRV, and a sleep score. (Fitbit and Samsung watches keep sleep in their own apps and don't write it to Apple Health. The silent wrist alarm is the one part that needs an Apple Watch.)

YOUR MORNING, EXPLAINED
• A sleep score and a warm one-line read of the night (wearable nights)
• Sleep debt, tracked over a rolling two weeks
• Today's energy curve, built from last night (Dozer+)
• Daytime naps counted as their own sleep, with their own detail
• A dream note, one tap from the night it belongs to — free, kept on your iPhone, and never part of an export or a feedback message

NIGHTS, HANDLED
• Night Listening counts snoring sounds — analyzed on your iPhone, and the audio never leaves it (results with Dozer+)
• Sound clips of the snoring and talking it hears, kept on your phone and removed on the schedule you pick in Settings (7, 14, 30, or 90 days) — switch them off any time
• Wind-down soundscapes that fade out on their own

A GENTLER WAKE-UP
• A silent tap on your wrist, timed to a light-sleep moment in the window before your set time — no sound, no waking your partner
• A recurring schedule that re-arms itself — set it once (Dozer+)

PRIVATE BY ARCHITECTURE
No accounts. No analytics. No ads. Your sleep is processed on your devices and stays there — it only ever leaves if you choose to share it yourself, whether attaching a night to a feedback message or sharing a screenshot.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.16 — 2026-09-21

Three questions, answered at a glance.

Today now opens with what you need first: how you slept, how much, and one thing worth noticing — chosen from your own data, never a suggestion. Everything else — the score's contributors, today's energy curve, snoring and sleep talk, your dream note, your tags and labels — is one tap away on "Last night in detail." The level tag is gone; it wasn't telling you anything a number already didn't.

Trends, one card per number.

Trends is now Metrics and Nights. Metrics gives sleep score, time asleep, bedtime consistency, snoring, resting heart rate, HRV and breathing rate their own card, each with a small chart shaded by your own typical range, over 7, 30 or 90 nights (90 is part of Dozer+). Tap a card for the full picture — chart, sentence and related patterns. Hide or reorder cards under Settings → Trends cards. Weekly and monthly recaps and your tags and labels have their own row below.

A direction on your body's numbers, without a verdict on you.

Resting heart rate and HRV now carry a plain-language line about which direction usually goes with a more rested night — the same words whichever way your own number moves — plus your own usual range so "typical" means your history, not a population chart. On your best-scored nights, Bedtime consistency now shows the window that tends to go with them.

Label a night in your own words.

Trying something different at bedtime — an earlier dinner, a cooler room, a night away? Put your own word on the night, and reuse it from a chip next time. Dozer never suggests what to write. Once a label has three nights with it and three without, your tags and labels shows how those nights compared on snoring, or on sleep score when there was no listening. Labels stay on your iPhone: never in an export, a feedback message, or on your watch.

Your clips, your call.

Delete a single clip or a whole night's at once, and correct a clip's label when Dozer heard it wrong. Play a whole night's clips in a row — or only the ones you haven't heard yet — and pick up where you left off if something cuts the run short.

More room on iPad.

On a full-width iPad, Today shows last night's detail beside the night itself, and Metrics lays its cards out in two columns.

Easier on the eyes in daylight.

Daybreak's text and accents have more contrast throughout, and the watch complication now shows the Dozer mascot.

### 1.12 — 2026-09-02

Your nights, told as a story.

Trends now opens on four chapters — Sleep, Rhythm, Night Sounds and Body. Each one leads with its own chart and adds a single plain sentence about what that chart shows, so the thing worth knowing is the first thing you see rather than something you scroll for. Every chapter carries its own mark and colour, and the figures that used to sit in a separate grid now sit with the chart they describe.

Write the dream down before it goes.

A dream note lives on the morning card, one tap from the night it belongs to. It's free, it stays on your iPhone, and it is never part of an export or a feedback message.

You decide how long clips are kept.

Sound clips used to disappear after seven days and that was that. Now you pick the schedule in Settings — keep them longer, clear them sooner, or turn recording off entirely.

See what Dozer+ actually unlocks.

The upgrade screen shows one of your own locked chapters — your chart, your numbers — instead of only describing what sits behind the lock.

### 1.10 — 2026-08-17

Your tags now work for you.

A new YOUR TAGS section in Patterns shows every tag you use, how many nights it covers, and exactly what unlocks its comparison. And when a pattern is confirmed, you can test it: five nights without the tag, and Dozer reports what they averaged next to what your tagged nights averaged — your numbers, your counts, no verdict.

Your week and your month, in one place.

When a week or month completes, Trends gets a recap: nights tracked, average score and sleep, your steadiest and roughest nights, and what changed against the period before — always compared with your own history, never a norm. An optional notification (off by default) can tell you when your weekly recap is ready.

Every number now shows where it comes from.

Tap a night in Trends to see what drove its score — sleep duration, deep + REM share, and continuity, each with the real measurement and its share of the points. On nights without stage data, the quality row says "not measured" instead of hiding a zero.

The 14-night chart now draws a second reference line: your own average, right beside your sleep-need line. The bars dropped their score colouring — one colour for measured nights, a lighter one for estimates — so the chart reads at a glance.

The stat tiles carry their context with them. Average sleep states its distance from your goal. Bedtime consistency names the window it measures. HRV reads as a change from your own typical, not a bare number.
