Dozzzer helps you falling asleep by slowly reducing the music's volume so you don't wake up again, once it stops.

- Dozzzer Plus -
Dozzzer Plus automatically renews as a paid subscription, unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the date of renewal. The payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period. You can cancel a free trial or subscription anytime by turning off auto-renewal through your iTunes account settings. This must be done 24 hours before the end of a free trial or subscription period to avoid being charged. The cancellation will take effect the day after the last day of the current subscription period, and you will be downgraded to the free service. Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a premium subscription during the free trial period.

I used to own this app and it was great… and FREE! Now they charge a monthly subscription. No thanks!!

**Developer response:** It’s a yearly subscription for the very reasonable price of £5.99 - and the app was never entirely free, there were always optional in-app purchases, which naturally still work for anyone who actually purchased them when they were available.

Update: Inzwischen hatte ich Kontakt mit dem Hersteller. Irgendwie hat die App bei mir den alten In-App-Kauf vergessen. Nun läuft die App aber wie gewohnt.

 Alte Rezension: Seit dem Update kann ich nur noch irgendwelche Icons auswählen oder den Timer verändern. Alles andere für nur zum „Plus“-Kauf. Ja, der Entwickler soll für seine Arbeit entlohnt werden. Aber ich habe diese App damals gekauft und inzwischen ist es nicht mehr die App die ich bezahlt haben. Sehr schade.

**Developer response:** Alle Funktionen der ersten Versionen sind immer noch enthalten in der App, und sollten für frühere Käufer natürlich auch entsperrt sein. Wenn Sie mir eine Email an dozzzer@voidstern.net schicken kann ich Ihnen weiterhelfen, sollte dabei etwas schief gegangen sein.

Great work on this. I love the selection of soundscapes without any marketing gimmicks. For a sleep app, I think investing in the actual soundtracks and to develop functionality around the music is what it's all about when it comes to an app to help you sleep and relax.

If there could be a way to create certain playlists and/or group together existing soundscapes, so for example you don't have "Random" set for the night but something like "Water sounds" tor instance, this would really make a big difference, at least to me.

Es wirkt wirkt unspektakulär, Musik so lang schrittweise leiser zu machen, bis man eingeschlafen ist und sie dann abzustellen. Dennoch ist es genial. Ich nutze die App dafür seit Jahren und bin sehr zufrieden.
(Einen Stern Abzug nur, weil mich die häufigen Verweise auf den kostenpflichtigen Plus-Service etwas stören. Die Grundfunktion ist tadellos)

**Developer response:** Bitte über Einstellungen > Email Support bei mir melden, dann entsperre ich die Funktion. Für frühere Käufer sollte sie selbstverständlich verfügbar bleiben.

Es bleibt automatisch permanent entsperrt für jeden der in den letzten Jahren In-App etwas gekauft hat, nur für die handvoll Nutzer, die die App selbst vorher gekauft haben, funktioniert es leider nicht immer automatisch.

I don’t mind ads and I don’t mind paying for extra features but the whole point of this app was to use my music to fall asleep and that is now behind a paywall? Not a fan.

**Developer response:** I know the custom music is the primary feature of the app, and I would have preferred to keep it free, but after almost year, I can still count the active subscriptions on my two hands.

If this doesn’t lead to at least some more subscriptions, I’ll probably just discontinue the app.

Bis vor kurzem konnte ich mein Hörbuch in die App laden und abspielen. Seit gestern oder vorgestern wird beim Versuch das Abspielen zu starten, nur noch die Aufforderung zum InApp-Kauf angezeigt. Das heißt, das die App für mich leider völlig unbrauchbar ist und eine Funktion, die ich seit Jahren nutze, plötzlich Geld kosten soll. Nein, danke. Dann wird die App gelöscht.

Ja, Softwareentwicklung kostet Geld.
Dann bring Dozzer 2 raus mit neuen Funktionen, die dann Geld kosten, aber nicht alte Sachen, die seit Jahren vorhanden sind, unbrauchbar machen, durch ein Software-Update. Da komme ich mir verarscht vor.
Da wurde auch nichts neu entwickelt.

**Developer response:** Ja, Software kostet Geld, und die App war nun lang genug gratis, aber ich denke wenn man sie regelmäßig nutzt sind ein paar Euro im Jahr auch gerechtfertigt. Beschwerden das die App nicht gratis ist, von Leuten, die nie etwas für die App gezahlt haben, kann ich nicht ganz ernst nehmen.

Nur weil die Funktion bisher gratis war, bedeutet es nicht, dass sie für immer gratis bleiben muss. Für jeden, der zumindest mal irgendwann etwas in der App gekauft hat, bleibt natürlich weiterhin alles entsperrt.

Seit dem letzten Update hängt sich die App nach einem Lied auf wie bei einer alten Schelllackplatte die hängen bleibt. Echt schlecht 👎👎👎

... aber nun kann man keine Hörbücher mehr hinzufügen bzw. keine Hörbuch-Playlists mehr. Einsatzgebiet also nicht mehr gegeben für mich, schade.

Tut mir leid, ich höre zwar persönlich keine Hörbücher damit, aber ich bin davon ausgegangen, dass die neue Auswahl Ansicht (die Standard Ansicht von Apple) alles, also auch Hörbücher beherrscht. 
Ich werde mir das noch einmal ansehen und gegebenenfalls nachbessern, danke für den Hinweis.

In der Zwischenzeit können sie den Externen Modus von Dozzzer benutzen um die Lautstärke zu reduzieren und das Abspielen zu Beenden, während ein Hörbuch in einer anderen App (zB Musik App oder Audible) abgespielt wird.

Apparemment ne reconnaît que les playlists de premier niveau et pas celles rangées dans des dossiers et sous-dossiers. (J’ai spécialement acheté un iPhone 7 pour remplacer mon iPod Classic tombé en panne et pouvoir y télécharger toute la musique que j’ai patiemment « rippée » depuis ma collection de cédéroms : donc pas de Drm... mais un classement par dossiers et sous-dossiers pour mes quatre ou cinq mille listes de lecture.) Donc, malheureusement, inutilisable pour moi. Dommage car cela me semblait LE logiciel que j’attendais.

There were a couple of hiccups related to my understanding of the new interface, but Lukas, with customer support, was quick and fantastic to helped me find the solutions within a couple email exchanges.
Plus the new additions are super useful.  Dozzzer is the perfect solution for my needs and I use it nearly every evening to "wind down" from my day.
