## What is DPF Monitor for VAG?

DPF Monitor for VAG allows you to see several important data points relating to the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) installed in a diesel vehicle built by VAG (Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda, and SEAT). By making this data visible it is possible to see the health of your DPF, as well as when an Active Regeneration is in progress.

GETTING STARTED:

Step 1: Connect your supported Bluetooth/WiFi OBD2 device
Step 2: Open the application and select your device
Step 3: Select a suitable engine group in the Settings menu

SUPPORTED DEVICES:

To use the application, you require an OBD2 device with an ELM327 chip capable of communicating via the VAG UDS protocol. This device must support Bluetooth Low Energy (4.0+), or WiFi.

Visit https://www.dpfmonitor.com/device-requirements for more details and recommended devices for purchase.

Great app for viewing DPF status, the car play app is also great to monitor and allow the car to fully regen before turning it off

### 4/5 — Funktioniert jetzt

*2026-05-10*
