## What is dpump?

dpump is a flexible workout planner for iPhone and iPad.

Build a repeatable training schedule, see upcoming workouts on a calendar, and adjust your plan when real life changes the week. dpump supports gym sessions, runs, climbs, flex days, rest days, and multi-workout schedule days.

Start a planned workout to track sets, reps, weights, notes, sport sessions, and completed history. Gym workouts support set-by-set tracking, drop sets, and supersets. Runs support distance, duration, pace, route, effort, and laps. Climbing supports grades, attempts, sends, projects, progress stats, and private on-device beta media. Active workouts can also appear as Live Activities on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island.

dpump is built for training plans that need to stay understandable, even when workouts shift, skip, swap, or flex.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.6 — 2026-08-01

Version 1.6 starts with a critical Live Activity reliability fix.

- Completing or undoing a strength set from the Lock Screen, Dynamic Island, or supported Smart Stack now reliably updates the active workout.
- Added regression protection for the app lifecycle path that previously allowed an older workout state to overwrite Live Activity changes.
- Supersets can now contain any number of adjacent exercises.
- Boulder projects can be retired without deleting their history, then restored later from the journal.

### 1.5 — 2026-07-18

Version 1.5 makes strength-workout entry faster and friend schedule copies easier to keep current.

- New haptic strength-set keypad with select-all editing, quick weight/rep adjustments, a hide button, and smooth Next/Done navigation across every set and exercise.
- Copied friend schedules now show when the creator changes the schedule or a referenced workout, with options to copy the latest configuration or ignore that revision.
- Strength logging now stays focused on weight, reps, and set completion.
- A unified sky-blue brand accent and consistent workout colors now carry across the app, Today widget, and Live Activities.

### 1.4 — 2026-07-15

- Plan changes now persist and can be reviewed or undone.
- Create named run and climbing workouts with configurable session styles.
- Log run distance, duration, pace, route, effort, and laps.
- Track climbing grades, attempts, sends, projects, progress stats, and private on-device beta photos or videos.
- Improved superset editing, sign-in, and confirmation dialogs.

### 1.3 — 2026-07-13

Performance, security, and accessibility improvements across dpump: faster incremental workout-history sync; safer friend discovery and schedule sharing; better Dynamic Type, VoiceOver, Reduce Motion, touch targets, dialogs, and Live Activity controls; plus reliability fixes for interrupted sync, local history persistence, and account cleanup.

### 1.2 — 2026-07-11

• Get into your planner faster with improved account checks.
• Choose drop sets per exercise and improve large-text scrolling.
• Reliability and security fixes for friend requests, syncing, calendars, and active workouts.
