### 3/5 — Faithful but flawed repro

I like that its based on the old game and appreciate the author’s efforts to offer us a classic AI experiment. Most versions are worse. In this one, I dont like that Eliza’s answers are spoken by an obviously computerized voice. Widens the uncanny valley (to me) in a way that is startling and distracting & less fun than the original. I wish it had the option to switch to text only communication. Also the preferences are kinda buggy (screen glitch on iphone 12 mini) and voice input didn't work for me. So eliza talks and i have to type, which makes for an awkward conversation style / cognitive dissonance. Still - its a cool concept worth exploring!

I've played with a lot of Eliza implementations over the years, and this is a very good one, and the best for iOS that I've found. (Though to be honest the rest are kinda awful.)
