### 3/5 — OBD reader connection

*2026-04-15, version 3.4.42*

Can developers make the app remember the OBD2 scanner? If the mobile phone is going out of range (eg. to pay for the fuel), it will not reconnect with the scanner, once back in range. It needs to be reconnected manually. This may be very useful for drivers!

### 4/5 — Unable to pair Panlong device to my iPhone

*2025-08-28, version 3.4.36*

Sadly, I was unable to pair the Panlong OBDll device to my iPhone. I did purchase the one that was supposedly IOS compatible on Amazon. I’ve found advice for IOS users to be sketchy at best, leading to much frustration on my part. I’m sure this app would have given me the information on the battery life left in my 3rd gen 2015 Prius—with only just over 44,000 miles. The dealer that I’m working with—trying to negotiate purchase of a 2026 Prius—is trying to convince me my car is worth next to nothing, I simply don’t believe him but can’t prove it. My onboard computer reflects a good charge and gas mileage remains good, I simply need to prove my gut feeling.
If the beloved developer of this fabulous app can make a clear and very concise recommendation on which monitor is the absolute best and works, please post or add an updated YouTube video. I’d be eternally grateful and am betting others would be too.
I’ll happily come back and give 5 stars if I can get the guidance I’m desperate for. Thank you.
Kind regards, Susan

### 4/5 — Всё что нужно показывает!

Сделайте первый главный экран как у приложения hybrid assisten.

### 5/5 — works beautifully

*2025-01-27, version 3.4.29*

Wow worked wonderfully with veepeak scanner and 2014 Prius

### 1/5 — Useless app connects to nothing

*2024-12-24, version 3.4.26*

I’ve tried various obd2 readers now and even used a link provided on your app to source the Carista one. Detects it but times out. Given up now, other apps can monitor blocks and aren’t as fussy. Useless app, wouldn’t bother - go for Torque which will show you similar info.

### 3/5 — Not working properly

*2024-11-18, version 3.4.23*

Please fix the fact that demo mode crashes the app.

### 1/5 — innowa obd 2 not connect

*2024-11-01, version 3.4.22*

не со свеми обд коннектарами работает

### 1/5 — Update ruin it!

*2024-08-18, version 3.4.21*

Terrible app. The update ruined the life expectancy function. Now it says my inverter is too hot to perform the test even though other car scanner is showing the inverter temp is normal. In the past the life expectancy function seems really random. I think there is really nothing under the hood for this app. Probably a random number generator?

### 1/5 — Не работает! Деньги на ветер

*2024-07-28*

-3000 руб

### 4/5 — Saved me thousands!

*2024-07-15*

Helped me (a complete novice) diagnose the issue with my car. Appears to be a malfunction of the fan system which I can repair myself, rather than an actual failure of the battery. I was about to pay out my behind to have a new battery installed.

If you’re considering a replacement of your hybrid battery I’d implore you to spend the $14 on this app + ~$20-40 on an OBDII reader. I used the recommended Veepeak BLE+ 4.0 Bluetooth model. Vastly cheaper than a new battery, and these tools will help me decide when it’s finally time to buy the bullet in the future. Hopefully not anytime soon!

### 1/5 — Does not support hybrid Sienna

*2026-07-14*

Does not work with any hybrid Sienna made since 2021

### 1/5 — Useless

*2026-03-14, version 3.4.38*

Will not recognize my OBDLink MX+ adapter at all. Pretends the adapter doesn’t even exist.

### 1/5 — No connection

*2026-03-07, version 3.4.38*

Highly frustrating the app can find the device but automatically fails to connect and it doesn’t help you can touch the setting in the device until it connects….moving on to another app

### 1/5 — App crashes

*2025-10-29, version 3.4.37*

I have tried 20 times to do life expectancy test and every single time of 3rd step after 30 seconds the app closes automatically.

### 1/5 — I wanted to love this app :-(

*2025-08-02*

No problem connecting to the app via the recommended OBD2 Bluetooth devices. Ran Full Battery Test - no issue. Ran life expectancy test- won’t reach 75% charge so never goes to next step. Apparently the app algorithm won’t address aging batteries that the car computer determines should no longer charge beyond 60%.
My 2011 Prius still gets 50mpg so the batteries are still doing their job in their old age.
The significance of the various parameters are not explained so one is left with a pile of meaningless numbers.

**Developer response:** Hi, if you are using the Veepeak adapter, there was a defect in their recent model that can't keep up with the large amount of data, we have pushed a new release to improve the reconnect mechanism. FYI.

### 1/5 — Monopoly

*2025-07-09, version 3.4.36*

Someone else make an app for free please. Rug pullers here

### 1/5 — Not working!!

*2025-04-24, version 3.4.36*

I have a 2021 Toyota Prius prime limited and when I tried connecting the obd scanner to the app it says “vehicle not supported”

### 1/5 — Works

*2025-02-23, version 3.4.33*

Well. Worked but after update reconnecting constantly.

### 1/5 — Pay failure

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Lexus owner

*2026-07-04*

Our family has 2 CT200h’s and a UX250h. Second son heading off to college and we were looking grab another CT200h. Finally bought the Veepak and downloaded/paid for the app.
Used it to scan/test a car we were looking at and it gave me the satisfaction needed to make the purchase. Trip back home with the car was a few hours drive and I left the app open on battery monitor to watch the stats.
When we got home I scanned the rest of our cars to check/test out the batteries. Great tool for monitoring/maintenance of your hybrid batteries.

### 5/5 — Good

*2026-06-28*

I used it to find the problem and the app helped

### 5/5 — Helped me check the voltages and resistance of my Camry Hybrid

*2025-12-15, version 3.4.37*

Great! It is free to look at the live voltages and resistances of individual modules in my Toyota Camry Hybrid HV battery. You can also pay $20 to get the other tests done as well. I used the Veepeak OBD 2 and it connected flawlessly on my iphone 14 plus.

### 5/5 — Khalid

*2025-10-23, version 3.4.37*

Very good i used and work smoothly thank you

### 5/5 — Great/Cheap App

*2025-09-27, version 3.4.37*

I never write reviews this is my first time ever, but this app is great, granted it does have you get a obd2 scanner for your car but I mean everyone should have one, regardless the scanners are cheap and then to use the other services it’s only $13.99 so your paying less than $40 to diagnose your car compared to other scanners, it’s great now I know when my battery will die and then I can replace it, great app I definitely recommend the purchase of the scanner and service 👍

### 5/5 — Great

*2025-08-25, version 3.4.36*

Worked awesome. Helped turn the annoying backup beep off

### 5/5 — 20エスティマ

*2025-05-02, version 3.4.36*

ΔSOCを見たくて入れました。スキャナーはAmazonで購入したNEXAS Nexlink OBD2 です。

### 5/5 — Perfect

*2025-04-19*

This app is a quick check tool and basic knowledge with the mentioned OBD2 readers that they recommend. Connected easily and gives you real time data of what your battery is doing. Don’t overthink the bar graphs, focus on the voltage difference. The low bars are just showing you which modules are the low and the highs to come up with the voltage difference

### 5/5 — Easily able to disable obnoxious reverse beeping noise

*2025-03-04, version 3.4.35*

This app worked flawlessly with the Veepeak OBD2 sensor. Parts of the app are behind a paywall, but I was able to disable the reverse beeping noise for free. Thank you to the developer for not putting all features behind a paywall.

### 5/5 — Works with a good obd2 scanner tool

*2025-02-24*

Connects to my iPhone 14 Pro and the 2013 Prius with zero issues. This app is for your battery with a few bells and whistles. I use this with another auto paid app and I’m covered 100%. I feel people who complain about this app simply have a bad scan tool dongle or are cheap….maybe both.
