Keyboard keeps disappearing. In order to get it back, one needs to close the current note, go back to history and re-open. This happens so often that it renders the whole app useless.
iPodOS 16.6.1 (and all previuos versions two years back)
iPad A2197 (MW742VC/A) (7th generation)

Otherwise it would be a perfect app to take brief notes.
Please fix it, and you will receive all five stars with an excellent review.

I usually use it conveniently, but when I paste large data that exceeds 10,000 characters, it hangs when I select the whole text and I cannot delete it. Please add a function to clear all characters.

This app is very good for taking notes, as i’m writing a novel about post world war three when the world is devastated by the use of nuclear weapons, this app is really good for all my planning and note-taking and brain storming. There is one thing though: is there any way that I can write two different documents/drafts at the same time, like add a page so i don’t have to delete my notes so i can write something else because there’s only one page??? i’m not sure that makes much sense but another person has asked the same question. Otherwise a great app and everyone should download!!

例えばFacebookで書き込みをしていて他の作業が入っ中断した時、入力が消えてしまう時があります。そんな時このアプリで下書きしておけば、入力を保持してくれます。

　しかもフォント属性が付かないのが良い。

　ただし、入力行数が表示されますが、これは文字数にしていただきたい。

I really love this app! I have a big imagination and type faster then I can write. I’m currently writing a story about a zombie apocalypse.

One thing though.

Could you please add a multiple writing system? What I mean is basically could you add a feature we’re you could write more than one piece. I can’t find any way to do it. I just don’t wanna be writing the same theme forever. Otherwise keep up the great work!

At first, I was very impressed that such a tiny app would allow me to make pdf files of the draft and save them elsewhere…

Then I discovered three files (sometimes four, depending on what I'd done) were being created in my 'Files' (a completely different app); and that each time I returned to DrafPad, those files were getting bigger, even though I'd written NOTHING at all! After deleting these uninvited files (from 'Files'), they would reappear the very next time I opened DraftPad. And then I looked in Draftpad history to discover that these previously empty files were being filled up with some kind of code I could make little sense of, but which might have something to do with formatting (I'm guessing, based on what I saw).

If the developer cannot explain what is happening and reassure me about the reasons for such apparently peculiar behaviour, I feel I have no choice but to delete the app and all associated, uninvited files.

Please get back to me - and if it makes sense, I will have another go and update this review. But for now, I feel very uncomfortable about an app which does things I'm not asking of it and that these auto-created files just keep getting bigger and bigger each time I open the app or look at the gobbledygook I can't make sense of.

前は便利だと思っていて無くなってとても残念だったので、今回喜んでインストールしたのですが。
どうやら便利だと思っていたのはアシスト機能にあったようで便利さがドラフトが残るだけになってしまいました。

Nothing but text editing. I looked and looked for something like this. My favorite feature is the “ready-to-type” interface — you run the app and the first thing it shows is a cursor, not a list of text files with a “plus” sign that you must tap BEFORE you can type. Just run the app and start typing.

開発終了したにも関わらず、ユーザーのメモ財産の為にリニューアルして帰って来たなんて…。下書きやテキストのベタ打ちにはコレが一番早くて使いやすかったから嬉しい。履歴が残るから「必要なメモと不必要なメモを整理する」という作業も必要ないのも良かった。…もう諦めてましたよ！

I just discovered this app and have only used it for less than an hour and I already love it. It takes a lot for me to get super excited about an app and then want to go and review it so quickly after acquiring, but I think Draftpad is brilliant because it's simple. It does one thing and one thing only. I use my fair share of multi-featured apps but it's just nice to have something with a simplistic layout. It really is like a sheet of paper.

The only thing I wish this app could do is once you close it, all text in the draft get automatically deleted--or maybe have an autodelete on/off. This might be useful if the user's primary way of exporting the text is via the iOS Share sheet.  Still, it's not a dealbreaker; you can simply cut, then copy to the clipboard, then paste it into wherever it's going to go. It's great that it's free, but I would have happily paid and supported the developer's work. (Developing any app takes time and doesn't happenat warp speed contrary to what many end users might think.)
