At one point, for example, it tries to teach you how to place a tile on the board. The tile starts to glow (just like in the previous steps, when you had to click on the tile to select it) and there is an arrow pointing to a player board. So what you’ll try to do is to click on the tile in an attempt to place it, but that’s not what you’re supposed to do. You’re supposed to click on the player board first and only then on the tile. If there is a sequence, teach it in order… tell me to click on the player board first, and only then highlight the tile I’m supposed to click on. I seriously thought that this was a bug for a minute or two. ### 4/5 — Awesome game with lots of options *2021-02-15, version 1.10* So glad I found this game! I like the solo play. Everything is smooth and gorgeous. I like that there are so many play options. It can be more simple or complex, depending on how you choose to play. I appreciate the fair premium price with no ads or IAP. We need more developers like this. It could use a little battery optimization (like a low battery usage mode), but it’s not bad as is considering the graphics. It could be a bit better though. Very good game, a match only takes 10 minutes, that’s the perfect amount of time. This is the only mahjong game I’ve ever really liked. It’s a very clever competitive concept. I have only 1 complaint about the game. There is no way to randomize the Dragon or Spirit you have during a game. If there was I would definitely give this 5 stars. I feel it’s an easy yet simple game mechanic that should be on every kind of game that allows for selection. ### 3/5 — Beautiful but bad bug *2020-07-21, version 1.10* It’s a lovely game and I enjoy it but after a match ends it just disappears with no indication of final scores! There is no reason whatsoever for 3/4ths of the screen to be sitting empty in solo play and half of it in 2-player. Insipid design. Why do I have to hit a button to end my turn when I have zero additional actions I can take and there is no undo button? What possible sense is there to this? Insipidly unnecessary. And why is there no undo button for tiles you’ve placed?! This is truly unforgivable in a game like this. 2 stars until this is all fixed. ### 3/5 — Interesting Game ..... but solo play need improving *2020-05-15, version 1.04* The game is an interesting tactical game extending Shanghai to a competitive multi player game. The computer bots for solo play do not however play very intelligently and are too easy to beat. Peccato che quando si usa lo Spirit of Strenght sistematicamente il gioco si impalla. Ho scelto il primo tassello poi ho attivato lo spirito...poi ha fatto confusione tra i tasselli che volevo muovere e quello che ho scelto. Multiple screens have critical bugs where the user can creat a situation where it is impossible to proceed. I’d give this app zero stars if I could. The quality control is just that bad. I’ll be requesting a refund from Apple. Please more fully test your app before shoveling trash into the App Store. I don t understand why it has not the undo option ### 2/5 — Troppi bug online *2020-01-20, version 1.0.3* Il gioco è molto fedele alla versione da tavolo (secondo me uno dei migliori nel genere astratto di nuova generazione) sia nella grafica che nella giocabilitá. Purtroppo sono costretto a dare un punteggio così basso solo perché l’app presenta ancora diversi bug che spesso si presentano giocando online quando si utilizzano i poteri delle spiriti, di fatto bloccando la partita. Spero che possiate sistemarli al più presto perché in questo modo non è giocabile online. Inoltre sarebbe da migliorare anche l’intelligenza artificiale perché a mio avviso anche nella modalità più difficile è ancora abbastanza debole. Se lo migliorerete secondo me il gioco sarà da 5 stelle! ### 3/5 — Great game but technical problems *2025-02-25, version 1.2.4* Game is great fun. Artwork and animations are top notch. Game crashes a lot though. Especially when doing things like receiving an online turn notification when playing in an offline game. I can tolerate some glitches (nothing’s perfect) but these crashes aren’t getting any less frequent and are pretty disruptive. ### 3/5 — Love the game but the app has a big issue *2020-08-05, version 1.10* I am a fan of the game and overall I love the interface design. BUT, I’ve found that the clock recording the time set for a game is totally useless. If I create a game for 30 min. and someone joins, you would think that the app would give each player 30 minutes of time to play. This helps avoid a player getting stuck in a game with someone who never finishes their turn. Ultimately if they don’t play, their time runs out and they lose. BUT that isn’t what happens. The clock for the other player only runs as long as I am still in the game. If I leave to play a game with someone else the in game timer stops. Completely defeats the value of it. So I have 4 inactive games open right now and even though I’ve taken my turns, my opponents have zero reason to worry about coming back to play because they will never run out of time. This is very discouraging. Games like this need to be able discourage game abandonment. Grafisch wirklich hübsch gemacht und es funktioniert alles. Es gibt zwar Verbesserungsmöglichkeiten, z.B. Zoom der Drachenburg oder einen Zug rückgängig machen können, aber die kommen vielleicht noch. Ich kannte das Brettspiel vorher gar nicht, deshalb fand ich das Tutorial ein bisschen dürftig. Aber es gibt ja die Spielanleitung. Und so ist zumindest der leichte Computergegner noch schwierig genug und ich habe noch viel zu entdecken. Echt eine spannende und interessante Mah-Jongg-Variante. Das ist frisch, macht Spaß und lässt die Zeot angenehm vergehen. Sehr empfehlenswert.
