This app needs to be completely reworked yet they don’t even attempt to patch any bugs. ### 1/5 — freezes every time *2025-08-21, version 26.0.0* it’s closer to malware than it is an actual functioning app. you can never mark a delivery as delivered and it will repeatedly crash your phone every time you open it. if you need to use gps on your deliveries this app will make sure to freeze your phone every single time. if you listen to music through bluetooth it will freeze your phone every time. if your phone is on low battery mode. frozen. it’s honestly quite impressive how consistently poor this app is ### 1/5 — Useless *2025-08-16, version 26.0.0* Keeps crashing. If you’re thinking about using this for your company I’d strongly advise against it. ### 1/5 — Horrible *2025-07-05, version 26.0.0* Constantly loses connection is by far the worst tracker app I’ve used. ### 1/5 — Unlawful and awful *2025-07-04, version 26.0.0* Fundamental misunderstanding of GDPR data protection law. Uses consent as basis for use of the mobile app yet as it’s necessary to have the app for working with the commercial partner (Pizza Hut) . Case law that consent is not the valid basis for data collection for employee/employer relationships. Developer claims to be the data controller which is not the case, dragontail should be the data processor in this scenario and be making no decisions on who the data is shared with. Mobile app continues to track even when not on shift. Updates now force health and fitness tracking to be turned on and uses the same global consent even though this is cat 9 data (biometric) and requires separate specific consent by law. With that out the way the app itself is flackey, most features don’t work, entering an order causes the app to freeze, linking to satnav app within order causes app to freeze, fails to track to delivery, calling customer - yep freezes . regularly unable to swipe order as delivered, if not active for more than 30 minutes app freezes (but continues to track) uses more battery than any other app and drains it faster with each update .. in short awful ### 1/5 — the worst app i’ve ever used *2025-06-30, version 26.0.0* only doing it for work ### 1/5 — Poor performance of this required app on my phone! *2025-06-24, version 26.0.0* This app drains my battery excessively where I have to constantly plug my phone in on many deliveries just to keep the battery in an acceptable condition. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — delete the app every week *2026-07-05, version 27.0.3* Every other review here is accurate even after updates it still slows down, freaks out, heats up the phone, tracks you off the clock, and drains the battery like crazy. The only fix I've found is to delete the app every so often. I suspect it has something to do with the way information is cached, and it just keeps building up more and more info without ever clearing it off the phone. It's caused a bunch of my apps to delete themselves because of the sheer size of the files the app accumulates after making deliveries and the only way to clear the cache is to delete the app, re install it, and then re enter the store at the start of your shift. It fixes the battery issues and slow interface for a few days but it's annoying as hell to have my phone battery drain like that even when I'm off the clock. Maybe adding an auto cache clearing function at the end of every day would fix it but idk, I'm not a coder, this is just my best guess at what the problem is. ### 1/5 — Unlawful *2026-04-10, version 27.0.3* Awful app putting Pizza Hut customers data at risk. ### 1/5 — A joke *2026-03-05, version 27.0.3* It takes money out of employees pockets and puts it straight in to door dash drivers pockets. It absolutely does not put employees of your company first. ### 1/5 — Broken and user-unfriendly *2026-01-22, version 27.0.3* Drains battery life, constantly freezes and won’t work until device is restarted, demands location even when not using the app, and has a severely outdated interface. Drivers are better off manually checking off orders as delivered upon returning to restaurant. ### 1/5 — Awful at what’s it’s designed for *2026-01-10, version 27.0.3* It baffles me how an app could be so poor at accomplishing the sole function that it was created for. I have been working at Pizza Hut for a while and I borderline stopped using this app entirely due to all its flaws. This app will constantly take me 10+ minutes in the wrong direction which results in angry customers and my delivery time shooting up, not to mention when it’s busy and I am unknowingly taking a 12 minute detour across town. I have started just putting the address in Apple Maps manually and tallying my tips up as I go. The only thing this app is good for is seeing the instructions that the customer left if I forgot to check in store. Other than that it is obsolete and even the managers encourage us to use google or Apple Maps instead and then just make sure the order is marked as delivered when we get there. If a developer is actually reading this (which I doubt, because this app is multiple years old and still sucks) please add in a function that lets you re route to your store after finishing an order. Also please add a place where you can see your tips for each order and please fix the issue with the wrong addresses. All it takes is adding a shortcut to a maps app that has the exact address. It already shows that the exact address is on the home screen but when I click the maps button it just gives me a rough estimate where it is and then I have to read mailboxes the whole way there. And that’s assuming it even brings me to the correct part of town. This system prioritizes third party delivery services over house delivery drivers.. The app never notifies of an update. Basically making all the Pizza Hut drivers quit y’all can wash dishes and fold boxes. Worse app ever invented. Been a Pizza Hut driver for 12 years. Debating on quitting now. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — NOT A 5 STAR REVIEW- The app didn’t post my 1 star review *2023-08-25, version 23.2.0* If you work at a Pizza Hut and they switch to this system, just know they’re subcontracting Doordash drivers so that they don’t have to have Delivery Drivers on their own payrolls. All drivers and staff hate it. The amount of deliveries you’re gonna get are gonna decrease. Pizza Hut doesn’t care about drivers, they just want to line their pockets by outsourcing deliveries. I give it 2 years until Pizza Hut solely uses doordash drivers and the only employees that are gonna be left are the in-store ones. Give corporations an inch and they’ll take a foot. Side note: The app didn’t post my 1 star review so I’m trying this out. ### 5/5 — I cant open this app in my Iphone 8 *2022-10-03, version 22.4.59* I rate this 5 star just to notice my concern that I CANNOT OPEN THIS APP IN MY IPHONE 8!!! SERIOUSLY how can I work and go deliver using this majestically, innovative, super complicated to understand app that even developers had failed to understand how to fix this simple problem. But it’s easy to understand how to prevent things. Anyway I was curious if somehow you guys can implement this app to work on apple car play so that way I or anyone in the future can see there delivery addresses on the screen and go from there and even mark them as delivered from the CarPlay also!! ### 4/5 — Much better *2020-05-08, version 22.3.33* This new version seems much more stable but then I do have a new phone so perhaps that’s partly responsible, I’m not sure but I does seem to be clocking me back in from a delivery automatically now rather than having to do it manually ### 3/5 — Solid *2025-02-13, version 25.0.0* Solid app just freezes up here and there ### 3/5 — BE WARNED!!! *2024-10-19* This system is not designed to coexist with payroll drivers, it’s used as a stepping stone to phase them out. It doesn’t learn and adapt the way it’s supposed to, it holds orders that should be made and makes orders that should be held. When this interferes with the performance of payroll drivers, the company switches to aggregators. The app doesn’t accept limited location access and the paperwork releases the company from responsibility for misuse of the information it gathers, effectively giving your employer 24/7 access to your location with no legal protection for how the information is used. This may not be abused yet but it can be, and you are not protected if it happens. They may not even be taking criticism anymore. Someone above posted 5 stars because their 1 star review wasn’t posted, and I tried to leave one earlier today which hasn’t shown up yet.
