This is not compatible at all with mobile devices. ### 1/5 — Terrible *2022-08-14, version 2.52* Doesn’t open correctly on my phone. Wrong format for an iPhone. Once you open a window within the app you have to disable the app to get it to work again ### 1/5 — This app will only frustrate you *2022-08-09, version 2.52* We’ve been trying to get this app to work for my daughter for several nights. It’s a hybrid app, which means the app on your phone is only a shortcut to their website. A website that doesn’t function well and is NOT mobile friendly. We had to jump on a laptop to even view the site correctly. And by saying “correctly” I’m being gracious. If you’re trying to transition a student from one school to another — or one sport to another, prepare to be met by failure. You can’t even remove old accounts without it telling you to go and contact that Support people. There are too many errors to number, but what I can tell you is that the app hangs up constantly and you can’t edit or delete things like you should be able to do. And the app/website is broken and information isn’t presented in a viewable format. It’s a broken system and needs a major overhaul before users can take this seriously. ### 1/5 — Mississippi, do better *2022-08-02, version 2.52* The state is Mississippi is basically forcing you to get this ridiculous, glitchy, and almost unusable app to get updates on athletic activities. Every time you need to delete/make a profile, it always says “changes could not be saved”. The app is just so shady and I hate using it ### 1/5 — Zero stars!!!! Awful *2022-08-01, version 2.52* Awful. The school system switched from family ID to this system and trying to get my daughter set up and registered has me so frustrated I am in tears. I have never felt so much rage towards any app or piece of technology. School administrators if you value your sanity and your players parents sanity please stay away from this app. So frustrating. The App won’t allow me to scroll down enough to even answer the questions on the forms. ### 1/5 — Not a fan *2022-07-30, version 2.52* This app needs major usability improvements. Be prepared to enter a lot of information multiple times. It seems like this could easily be solved with the technology. Also, it’s a scavenger hunt to add a new school or a new sport and I haven’t yet figured out how to remove my daughter’s old school yet. Kids switch schools and change sports all the time, Dragonfly should make it incredibly easy to do this. I would not choose to use this app on my own and hope that our school system finds a better alternative soon. ### 1/5 — If I could give zero I would *2022-07-01, version 2.52* I can’t even get to the log in page on the app. It freezes, kicks you out, updates student readiness and doesn’t inform parents so they are not ready for workouts and worst of all ask for very sensitive medical information. I entered information carefully, only to return find out that it was partially missing. The setup process, switching your child from sport to sport & school to school is so bad it’s almost comical. I find it hard to believe this is the best we can do. Based on the current leadership in public school systems, I guess I shouldn’t be surprised though. ### 1/5 — Horrible!! *2022-02-04, version 2.52* Cannot believe our schools use this app to keep up with our kid’s private health information!!! There is NO liability on the app developer to protect this information. The app is not functional and very glitchy! We can’t even get to the medical eligibility form because the screen won’t allow us to scroll down far enough to get to it. Have had to enter the same information multiple times which is redundant and inefficient. School system administrators should prevent requiring parents to use this app to protect the privacy of our children! ### 1/5 — DO NOT USE THIS APP *2022-01-28, version 2.52* Use another app if you have a choice. The state of Mississippi is forcing officials to use this app when being assigned games. 1. The app crashes every time you get a message. 2. There is no way to see your games on a calendar format. 3. When creating blocks for dates they are not listed in chronological order or offered in a calendar format. 4. This app is so bad that I’m convinced someone is getting paid to force us to use it. Nobody in their right mind would ever think this app was worth using. ### 1/5 — Trash *2021-11-04, version 2.52* Trash app. Schools forces us to use this trash app that is worse than ET on the Atari 2600. Also, it’s awful that we are forced to share private info with unknown third party. Health questions were invasive. Not at all user friendly and we are forced to use it. We are spending way too much time trying to get passes for our staff. They don’t have adequate listing such as Asst. Supt. or even other district staff. Support is lacking. Names are in the system and then gone. Try something else IMO. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — TERRIBLE!!!!! *2024-04-25* I don’t know what platform Dragonfly Athletics is made for, because it won’t work in Safari, Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or any other browser. The app is absolutely useless!! None of the links work!! They might as well be screenshots! It won’t allow you to connect to anything and takes forever to load!!! My daughter’s school requires her to register for any sports through Dragonfly and after over a week of trying to use this absolutely worthless program/interface, I am seriously considering my daughter to continue playing club sports rather than play for her school at all!!! ### 1/5 — App is Garbage *2024-01-23* So my son set up a profile and I set up a profile THRU THE WEBSITE, because the app is garbage. Hopefully all the info is in there and gets where it needs to go, but so far haven’t used the app for anything. Maybe an idea for the developers is to require set up thru the website and then have a link to download the app at the end. It won’t let you scroll down all the way to the bottom to fill out information; therefore, you cannot complete your profile. You can’t upload your sports physical until your profile is complete. App won’t scroll down far enough to let you answer all the questions required and you can’t fill out any of the other key forms as a result. Beg your team to use any app other than this one. ### 1/5 — Extremely frustrating app *2022-11-07, version 2.52* This app must work well on the administration side, as I can’t imagine any school district putting their students/parents through the frustrations of this app. I personally would have spent my time more effectively by printing out blank documents and writing out everything by hand. Tech is supposed to make things easier not more difficult. We moved, and her new softball team uses the app too. I could not get the app to switch schools, update account, or delete my daughter’s old school. I had to go the website, log in, and start a new profile for her. I deleted the old one, but the app (1.5 years later) still doesn’t reflect the same. I can’t even use the app now. I have to use the website via my phone, and that’s irritating as well. ### 2/5 — Can’t update anything *2022-08-19, version 2.52* I need to update my son’s athletic information from last year and it won’t let me edit any information. I always get two notifications for every message then when I go to messages I can view them. It is not that difficult to prefill in info that has been filled in on other areas of the app already, but this app does none of that. The responsiveness for the scroll bar is way off. The forms are not mobile friendly .. the app as a whole is notuser friendly at all. ### 2/5 — Don’t install 2.49 *2021-04-16, version 2.49* The latest version of 2.49 removed the ability to text your crew or school admins from the iphone app. I would not install it if not forced to do so. Dragonfly says they are working to resolve. ### 2/5 — Poorly Fleshed Out App *2021-02-07, version 2.47* If you are a sports official switching from any other assigning system to dragonfly.. prepare to be disappointed. 1. The app doesn’t allow you to view your schedule in a calendar format. This should be an easy feature to implement, as both Arbiter Sports and RefTown have this. 2. Block Dates: if you set several blocks, they do not display in chronological order or on a calendar format. 3. Notifications come in for new assignments.. sometimes. Other times I receive no notifications at all. 4. Assignors do not receive notifications when you reject games. Make sure you call them. All in all, there are several areas that dragonfly can improve in.
