Also bought a $4.99 sack of crystals but they charged my account $18 instead of 5. There’s no way to get my money back because contacting the creators is not an option, they abandoned the game and rob people of their money without the possibility of getting it back. Everything’s too expensive and everything takes 24 hours whether you’re breeding dragons, training them, or exchanging them for elements it’s 24+ hours making the game slow as molasses and boring which is why people end up paying money for resources just so they can play the game more than once in 24 hours. Stupid game, stupid prizes, and they literally steal your money. ### 4/5 — Good but could be amazing with updates *2023-07-09* I really love dragon games and this has by far been my favorite for years. The graphics are on point, it’s not mindless or boring so it really keeps your interest as you have to try for what you want. But it hasn’t been updated in years, which makes it less fun than it used to be. If the developers stopped their abandonment of their project this could be one of the best mobile games out there. There’s no more seasonal events or tournaments, the latter of which were a big part of the game. It’s still fun to play on its own since the league system is still in place, but I miss the tournaments. ### 4/5 — Favourite game *2023-06-09* This is definitely the best game I have. I played for months years ago on a device that broke. Recently got back on realizing it was on IOS. Graphics are smacking abs gameplay is simple but fun. Some of the Diamond pricings are a little high but fair seeing how it’s a challenging game. I do wish the devs would come back though. It would be great to get some active tournaments and things and get game activity up. But I sun love it to death! Only 4 stars because no updates left ### 4/5 — The loading bar won’t load completely. *2022-11-10, version 1.98705* I have always loved this game. It’s one of my favorites. I redownloaded it today (November 9th, 2022) after at least 4-5 years of not playing it and it won’t let me play. I have an iPhone XR so I don’t know if that’s the problem. The details the App Store provides says it’s compatible with my phone. But I open the app and it only loads about 60-70% of the way and just stays there. And I have enough phone memory too so I know that’s not the problem. This app hasn’t been updated since October 31st, 2017 so that maybe be why this is happening. I really hope nothing happened to the person who made this game. This is such a wonderful game and I would love to play it again! ### 3/5 — Late game is pay to play *2022-01-08, version 1.98705* I can’t progress in battle because my dragons need evolution and training which requires essence. To get essence, you need to split a dragon. To split a dragon, you need an essence. See? It’s a circular issue that’s only solved by buying diamonds or waiting months to build up the free ones. Especially irritating because it is a pretty fun game and I like breeding and finding new dragons but I’ve been playing for years and I’m fed up. ### 3/5 — Advice *2021-09-05, version 1.98705* Its a good game; BUT 2 problems. 1. There needs to be more to do. For example have daily event with 3 battles, and when you win you get some rewards like maybe 2 gems, or some food. 2. Food and coin need to be far easier to obtain. Either increase the amount of food you get from each thing in the greenhouse, or give and alternative way to get good amounts of food.(same thing with coins) ### 4/5 — The tournament doesn’t work anymore. *2021-06-28, version 1.98705* Playing this game is really fun… I remember I used to play it about 5 years ago, and there was a tournament where you could fight other dragons and get big awards. Now, the tournament is broken and NEVER works anymore. There is only the “dragon league,” but you can rarely ever receive elements from that. ### 3/5 — I don’t see it *2020-12-11, version 1.98705* Look its not a horrible game.... kinda the graphics are great but it just doesn’t seem very.... apeeling it seem aside from the dragon graphics the rest it just old style and when you start out you learn the basics but then I just didn’t know what to do after that I tried to battle to pass the time but I instantly lost. Honestly this game has little apeel and for me it’s just a little boring please fix this thank you! And I agree with Tygleefa... ### 3/5 — Fun But Morally Displeasing *2020-12-07, version 1.98705* This game is pretty well made- there are virtually zero glitches, it's fun to watch your sanctuary expand, and the designs are cool... but that's the problem. A few of the designs in this game are direct rip-offs from other games. The blatant plagiarism on a few of these monsters is an instant turn off and the two most outstanding are the "Underwater Mountain Dragon" (Zinogre from Monster Hunter) and the "Deja Vu Dragon" (Arcanist from Flight Rising). I will not be buying anything from this company as a result, but I will still continue to enjoy their other designs and features. Definitely recommend app this if you like monsters, I hope they either change or remove the ones that were stolen. ### 5/5 — Bring it back! *2020-11-02, version 1.98705* I miss this game and I just recently downloaded it again; it hasn’t been updated for two years?!?! I just recently got the game and I had it like 5 years ago. I think waiting for more than 5 hours is ridiculous and every thing is over priced. It’s hard to get money when the quests are hard to do if you don’t have the money for it. But the only issue that I have is the chats are difficult to handle, everything is way too slow and expensive. I’m hoping that someone from the company is still monitoring this review section and can help me/let me know what is going on. I suspect that it’s a server issue since I’ve tried everything else on my end to try and get it to work. I know that this game is older and no longer has active tournaments but I still enjoyed playing it and wish that they would bring it back because I think it’s the best dragon game out there. About a week ago I started having trouble getting it to load when I had not experienced that previously. I have only been able to get into it once in about 10 days. Is there anyone out there with Social Quantum that can check it out? ### 1/5 — Abandoned and buggy *2021-06-10, version 1.98705* Announcements do not work, progress is very slow through the game, and the last update was 3 years ago, no word from support. I would recommend not spending any of your money on this game due to it not being touched in so long. I loved this game back in the day and I come back after finally having access to an Apple account again just to find that most of the features no longer work. I doubt the devs are coming back, I might keep playing this game but it takes so long to progress now without tournaments working. I am most likely going to move on to a different game eventually. ### 1/5 — Star system *2020-04-18, version 1.98705* If sq did not abandoned this game they are for sure going to continue with the star system, you save up for so long to buy a 3 stars dragon for 3,500 crystal then guess what sq releases a 4star dragon that is even harder to obtain and perhaps adding a 5 elements dragon and they’re just going to throw out all the 3 stars dragon like they do for 4 elements 2stars dragon now. But now they’ve abandoned this game I guess we can all retire from this game since you might waste years of time to save up crystals just to buy ONE 3stars dragon then sq just remove this game completely from the market or if you want to waste your money and just purchase 3,500 crystals then buy a random 3 stars dragon egg then same thing happens, they remove the game. ### 1/5 — Won't load *2017-08-12, version 1.98604* This used to be my favorite game until it stopped loading. I thought it was my equipment so I deleted the app. A year later, I have the newest model iPhone with tons of memory and a super fast wifi connection and the game still won't load OR loads then freezes OR throws a "server error 1002" message every 10 seconds. It's totally unplayable so I've deleted it again. Grateful that I never spent actual money...although maybe if you do that, customer service will actually help you. ### 2/5 — So expensive and time consuming *2022-03-21, version 1.98705* Ok, so, I love this game. And I love playing it, but does every single thing you need to buy with coins have to be so expensive? Sometimes you don’t even have the right materials to buy something and you have to ask you guild(who, most of the time don’t even respond) to get the materials. Not to mention the wait times to clear obstacles/breed dragons/grow food take too long. So just as a suggestion: can you make the items/dragons a bit less pricy? And maybe lower the wait times? ### 2/5 — Dragons hard to bree *2020-03-26, version 1.98705* Entertaining in the beginning but when trying to breed new stronger dragons it may never happen, i played it constantly and i breed a few cute ones but when other people can get the strongest ones I’ve seen people get it in a fee tries as in no more than 10-12 times but it gets very annoying when you’ve been trying for months and months and nothing ... I’m starting to think with an update they made it harder to get like impossible to get so that people will buy it since noone is still playing this game.... ### 2/5 — Not what it was *2019-07-08, version 1.98705* I used to love this game. But it feels like the developers abandoned it. Features are now obsolete, like any friend adding through Facebook, which is fine. However, they don’t remove any of the quests pertaining to deleted features. Nor any of the references to adding friends. And whatever you do DO NOT contact customer support. They will just give you no resolutions and then fill your inbox with useless emails asking if they have resolved an issue they told you they cannot or won’t resolve. When you ask them to stop emailing you over and over, they will continue to do so. It’s maddening. I finally deleted the ap. Which is a shame because the graphics are the best of one of these types of games but it’s clear they really don’t care about making the game make sense - like deleting features and quests relating to features that no longer function. ### 2/5 — Rewards *2018-11-07, version 1.98705* Come on guys I keep giving you chances and I still don’t get rewards. Don’t even try to say you added them or that you are going to look into it. I spend my money and you can’t even manage to give me my rewards when I battle. I am absolutely sick and tired of this! I’m finding it crashing more often and saying that there’s a connection problem. I thought it was from my end but no my internet connection was very good. I finally was fed up with it, and wrote this review because I was doing very well in the tournament and then it wouldn’t let me sign back on for an entire day. I hope the developers are reading this because unless you fix the problem, you’ll lose many people. ### 2/5 — Bad at keeping track of dragons already bred *2018-04-29, version 1.98705* I would love for you guys to make it where I can keep up with dragons I’ve already unlocked. When I need essence I can’t get it without splitting a dragon. All the work and accomplishments dissolve and disappear that’s not fair to the hard work I put into feeding them. There are to many offers to pay for things. Also I used to be able to breed a fire and water dragon now I can’t. Ever since I was a little kid, I marveled at the beautiful music, amazing scenery, and, of course, the beautiful, silky, and sometimes ferocious dragons. They are so diverse and creative and beautiful, and there are HUNDREDS, and just for logging in every day for a month, you can get TWO super rare, amazing dragons who have special effects. This game is a must for any dragon lover and I couldn’t recommend it more. ### 5/5 — THIS GAME IS EVERYTHING!! *2023-07-20* I started with this game when I was a child, and ever since then, I have been captivated. The beautiful music makes everything feel right and peaceful. The dragons of this game? They are so creative and awe-inspiring in their design. I grew and grew and GREW my dragon sanctuary, and I had such fun along the way. Every new dragon unlocked was such a treat, for the dragons here are so creative and beautiful and chock full of personality. I LOVE IT! I have spent hours in the store, just browsing through dragons I both have and don’t, marveling at these beautiful, unique friends. Dragons World is a game not to be missed! It literally formed my childhood, and is one of the only games that has survived to this day that I can still play. Thank you, THANK YOU for never shutting this app down. I love it so much and recommend it with all my heart. ### 5/5 — everything is good but 1 thing makes it bad. *2022-05-14, version 1.98705* So a big thing in the game is called Dragon tournament or just known as tournaments. You get resources which allow you to craft amor ect another small aspect is rank for your dragon. Playing in the tournament gives you so many opportunities to fight so many other opponents to the point where worrying about how low your dragons rank is wont be a problem cause by the end of the week it would have a pretty solid rank to give it boost. I personally know a good amount of people that still play this game and want to see something more from it. It’s so fun and addicting and never gets old trying to obtain rare dragons and improve your little world. But the developers abandoned it and now there is never anything new to look forward to. I’m still playing, even still spending money on it occasionally, but without tournaments or exciting new dragons or deals or opportunities to get certain crafting materials it’s just not the same and takes a lot away from the experience. I’m still holding on hope one day I’ll open up the app and there will be any kind of new announcement. Even if it’s just to announce that the game has been abandoned for good. I have a question. Where. Did. All. The. Tournaments. Go??!! You can get certain resources for armor and amulets when you compete in tournaments. But, since the producers haven’t started any tournaments, those resources I need to make armor and amulets can’t be earned.
