This is frustrating because I was looking forward to the next event and was not able to enjoy it because I got no notice or update it was even happening until more than half way through which means I miss out in the daily prizes of the event. I feel very betrayed by this game. That being said it is a lovely game most of the time and I recommend it. ### 3/5 — Good *2026-08-06, version 4.41.0* Good. The only thing is I’m not aloud to buy ANYTHING in games. And before you say that’s not your problem, I bet there are other people who also can’t. And I’m just not getting enough gems to buy things I need. I just got this one dragon from breeding, and I’ve wanted it for ages. But I don’t have enough gems to buy it a habitat. So please either make it easier to get gems and or so you can trade money to get gems. Please consider these options! Other than that tho, this game is actually really good. Oh, and I HATE the new sand land update. It would be great if we could explore more new parks from players who are not already on our friends list. Having more random park recommendations would make the game feel more social and exciting. It'd allow us to discover more creative parks designs, get new inspiration and make new friends (if there would be an update about sending friend requests directly as well :'>). The ads are the problem. You can watch an ad and then get a message saying ‘Sorry, Tolzar turned the wrong dial” and not get the credit, even though you watched the ad. About 2 weeks ago, 2 minute ads started and it takes another 10 seconds for the ‘x’ to work. I know ads are necessary for game play but this game is trashed with ridiculous ads now! 14 years of happiness destroyed by greed! 5 star to 2 star. ### 4/5 — Amazing. Just one issue. *2026-07-28, version 4.41.0* The game is great, I’ve played it on and off for years. A game you can play for a few minutes every day and come back to at least once a day, since things like breeding and egg hatching take awhile. You can get just about every dragon for free if you’re patient and play long enough. HOWEVER, do NOT use the “piggy bank” feature to buy gems. It will just take your money, get you stuck on a loading screen, and will not give you any gems. Please fix this. ### 4/5 — Great but… *2026-07-26, version 4.41.0* This is a great game, I love the dragons you can collect and all of the features that are in the game! But I don’t like the wait times that you have to wait for baby dragons and for stuff to be moved. If you could maybe have the wait times go down a little that would make this an even better game. There’s 821 official dragon duel monster cards that they can collab with! And it’ll be fun to see the seven millennium items within dragonvale! I mean it only makes sense since they have over a dozen Egyptian themed dragons and yu gi oh has its routes in ancient Egypt. If a way was added to turn it off this game would be perfect. ### 5/5 — Perfect *2026-07-14, version 4.40.3* I have played this game for so long and there is no better idle phone game, the ability to get resources without money while having the option to pay for more resources quickly is awesome, the ad mechanics where it is entirely optional but very beneficial is done so perfectly. Every new dragon that is introduced is so cool and the designs are so nice. The events are also such a good way to get certain resources that may take more time to get with other resources. Its just the most perfect phone game ever. Theres a reason people like myself have never stopped playing, even though I miss the days when it was hard to lose a race rather than win it. Their app is janky and when u playing things on offer wall, when u pass a level, if the app isn’t fully refreshed before, you’ll get an error message when loading the app and the gems u won won’t be in your account, u then have to record a screen video showing your park and the error and hope they reward you. I’ve been denied more than 3 times on an error… if u download the app, they will screw you over too want to keep your sanity, DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME OR ANY GAME BY DECA, they will only screw u out of the things u need the most.My recommendation, play anything else, cause you’ll only go insane when u get screwed over too, then deal with a support staff that don’t care. They literally don’t care about u… I would literally this with screenshots if I could. ### 1/5 — Bugs & Glitches Galore *2026-08-19, version 4.41.1* I have no clue what happened to this game, but it is full of bugs and glitches. Do not waste your time watching videos from the hot air balloon as 50% of the time it freezes and a message appears stating “Oops Tolzar Detected Something Went Wrong” and it cheats you out of the item you were supposed to receive. Same thing if you watch videos to speed up hatch times. Same stupid message. And, this is super hilarious, if you e-mail support, always the same reply “Please reply with a screenshot or detailed video showing the problem.” This game has went to trash in the last few years. ### 1/5 — Wanted to like it *2026-08-14, version 4.41.1* I wanted to like this game, but every minute or so the server crashes and my progress is reset. I made a purchase of $4.99, and obviously tax comes with it too—but I was charged $8.45. Huh..? I'm a teenager so I have like NO money, but thank god that was actually in my account. I have nowhere to get actual support because the emails aren't being monitored, and the website is trash because you can't get a hold of an actual person. Just refund me the whole thing atp. The game is JUST a waiting game. I recently got my iPhone etc to only log in and have a quest bug I reach out for help to have my park deleted/banned/suspended to be told I exploited (I provided proof with purchase receipts this wasn’t the case, granted I haven’t had an apple device or any other device to play on since 2015 since I got rid of all ways of playing) so not only have I lost the park I spent years on playing and I wouldn’t bother reaching out for help as they now won’t reply to my emails, I’ll be filing to apple to try get my money back. Almost always has an event going on so the game is usually not too repetitive. I love decorating my islands. I hope they never stop maintaining the game with their consistent updates and events for us devoted players! This game means a lot to me! I have so many fond memories of this game growing up and is up there in my favorite childhood things with mac and cheese, scooby-doo, and The Octonauts. I’ve been a fan of the game even back when Backflip Games still existed. I don’t want much, but I have two great suggestions for one of your next updates. 1: So, you know how the Weather Station has a “None” setting? (Basically the default weather) I’d like the Twilight Tower to have that too, where the time and stuff automatically changes. And 2: Why can’t you buy event dragons, decorations, etc. from the Dragonarium or goal list? It makes you go to the event market instead. I think with all the events this game has it keeps things exciting, new dragons to breed, new items to work towards. Everything about this game is pretty much being done the right way or at least always going in the right direction. The only complaint I have is about the Twilight Tower and Weather Station. I wish there was an option to reset them, so that the music or weather from an event will be set up, or if there is no event at all. I wouldn't want to guess which music or weather goes with whatever event is happening so I can get the full experience of the game. I kinda gave up and I've just had the Tower and Weather on the same setting since who knows when. But even then, the game is amazing and I'll always take care of my dragons! ### 5/5 — Return and events *2026-07-30, version 4.41.0* I've played this game when I was very young and loved it then. I redownloaded it a decade later and am more than impressed with the updates the developers have done with the game! The current event is astral/night themed with beautiful dragons/items/habitats/themes to collect. I wish I could collect them all but I'm enamored by the very fact they did this. And now I'll be able to collect the zodiac dragons!
