## What is DrainMaster Plus?

DrainMaster Plus shows you whether your plants get the right water and feed. Measure what goes into the pot and what drains out, and the app warns you early when salt builds up or the pH drifts. Every plant gets its own journal.

Track electrical conductivity (EC), pH and temperature of your feed (nutrient solution) and of the water that drains out (runoff), in µS/cm, mS/cm or PPM (TDS). Calculators for humidity (VPD chart), light (DLI) and EC to PPM, a nutrient calculator for mixing and a grow journal (grow log, plant diary) with photos. For soil, coco coir, hydroponics, houseplants and indoor growing. Live readings over Bluetooth from compatible meters (pH meter, EC meter, pH pen).

• EC, pH and temperature for input and runoff
• Bluetooth: live values directly from Apera meters (e.g. PC60-Z, PH60-Z, EC60-Z)

TOOLS
• VPD, DLI and EC/PPM calculators
• Nutrient mixer

COMMUNITY

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.5.8 — 2026-10-19

Version 1.5.8 fixes two issues when saving measurements:

• Complete measurements without a water amount can now be saved
• Amounts entered with a decimal comma, such as 1,5 L, are now read correctly

### 1.5.7 — 2026-10-17

Version 1.5.7 brings minor improvements:

• Notes on managing your subscription and on refunds now only mention the App Store on iPhone and iPad
• Minor text corrections

### 1.5.6 — 2026-10-10

Version 1.5.6 brings a new glass design and PDF reports:

• Glass design on every screen: home with plant cards and history, plant status with a new EC ring showing the target range and its own line for tips, and a timeline with its own layout for each event type
• PDF reports with a DrainMaster Plus subscription: a plant report with charts and up to 6 photos, plus your measurements as CSV
• Ready to print, no subscription needed: mixing guide and VPD chart as PDF
• Our own illustrations and icon set instead of emojis, coins with their own coin symbol
• Better support for iPad and the unfolded iPhone Duo: two columns in analysis and the plant view, a margin on every edge
• The AI advisor now also takes watering and flushes from the timeline into account
• Fixed: every water entry now counts toward the watering interval, including feeding and flushing. The watering warning only appears after several days without an entry, and hydro no longer gets one. The empty photo viewer has a close button, and layouts follow right away when you unfold or rotate

### 1.5.5 — 2026-09-28

Version 1.5.5 is all about reliability:

• Cloud sync: changes are no longer lost, conflicts are easier to resolve, and the sync status honestly shows what is still missing
• Photos: uploads complete cleanly and no longer get stuck
• Measurements: pH values are stored with two decimal places, decimal commas work everywhere in the calculator
• Bluetooth: more stable connection and pairing with your meters
• Community: longer posts, special characters display correctly, report content and block users, appeal moderation decisions, public profile
• AI assistant: if something goes wrong, you get your coins back
• Languages: every text fully available in 10 languages, including correct plural forms
• Account: deleting your account now also works after buying coins
• Many smaller bug fixes

### 1.5.4 — 2026-09-17

• Subscribing works again, even after a stuck payment
• The AI advisor now answers in your language
• Suggested questions in the AI chat, matched to your plant
• The keyboard no longer covers the input field while typing
• Prices in the AI chat are displayed correctly again
• ZIP backup archives can be imported again
• Photos are visible again on the entry after a restore
• A restored backup now wins over the cloud version
• Fixed sync errors after importing a backup from another account
