It makes the old school one go super slow and then the rest are just easy if you use anything with splash damage. Unfortunately, for some unknown reason, I was almost completely reset back to nothing. I was just scrolling the menus and then I went to my troops and I had everything locked again and the starting troops were back to level 1. After a restart, my troops were back, but all level 1 and the sniper that you get for a 7 day streak of playing the game remains locked.
