### 3/5 — Love this app

*2021-08-13, version 2.5.4*

Great for art references

### 3/5 — Good

*2020-08-04, version 2.5.4*

Its actually pretty helpful. Way more helpful than any other app

### 4/5 — it’s not as bad as everyone says😅

*2020-07-11, version 2.5.4*

this app i saw i tiktok cause i enjoy drawing and this was actually really helpful and it made my drawings/sketches way more accurate! very noice 😎

### 2/5 — Not very user friendly

*2020-02-06, version 2.5.4*

Yes the first thing you see is a picture on how to use the app when you open it but getting it out of the way is a different story I couldn’t find out how to delet it and when I tried to move it out of my screen it just pops back up in the middle

### 2/5 — .

*2020-01-23, version 2.5.4*

It wouldn’t let me save the picture to my camera roll once I’d put the grid on it

### 4/5 — Honestly not bad

*2019-12-14, version 2.5.4*

Does just what I wanted it to do
It’s a little glitchy but it’s okay
Definitely a useful app for artist

### 1/5 — not user friendly

*2019-07-29, version 2.5.4*

I’ll find a better one

### 1/5 — Nope

*2019-06-25, version 2.5.4*

Doesn’t help at all. I don’t recommend this app. There’s not really instructions on how to work it. It’s very confusing

### 1/5 — Crashes

*2019-03-17, version 2.5.4*

I’ve been using this app for years now and all it does is crash when I try to save a picture. Then I have readjust everything and it crashes again.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2019-03-10, version 2.5.4*

Doesn't work and won't save. Crashes every time.

### 1/5 — Unusable

*2019-03-04, version 2.5.4*

It might be better if you pay to lose the ads, but, frankly, it’s such crap in demo mode that I’m unwilling to find out.

### 3/5 — Good

*2019-01-23, version 2.5.4*

I actually really like this app, I feel it’s easy to manage. However, as everyone has said it crashes when you try to save. But I think I found a way around it; instead of saving, I copy and paste it into my notes app and then save it from there. Gives me the perfect photo and grid.

### 1/5 — Not a useful app for proportional enlargement!

*2019-01-09, version 2.5.4*

This app is not useful for artists. It doesn't define the crop size or provide a proportional enlargement capability that would enable you
to accurately draw an image into a proportionally accurate enlarged grid. Thats the most important capability for an app of this type!

### 3/5 — Very useful but cannot save

*2019-01-06, version 2.5.4*

Crashes when saving but you can easily screen shot your picture. I find it a very useful gridding app and one of the best for gridding as you cam actually choose how many squares you want and even change the colour of the gird lines. For art purposes i would recommend.

### 3/5 — It’s okay

*2018-12-18, version 2.5.4*

I feel like that this app is pretty good but it does get a little bit annoying when changing the grid size and just controlling it in general I also think that the grids are a little thick so when I’m drawing I miss out little details due to the thickness of the grid line on top of the picture but other than that it’s pretty good

### 2/5 — Potentially good but...

*2018-12-05, version 2.5.4*

Not user friendly; Need to be able to adjust the grid independent of picture. It seemslike a simple thing to do, but i can't figure it out.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — This sap does not size pictures very well

*2024-02-04, version 3.0.4*

I’m not very happy with this app because the whole grid moves when I try to move my image into Center and put the whole thing off from Center, so why does the grid move when I move my picture?

### 1/5 — Don’t waste your time

*2021-08-14, version 2.5.4*

Unless a kid uses this, just don’t waste your time

### 1/5 — Total waste of time!

*2021-06-26, version 2.5.4*

Don’t bother trying. Crap!

### 1/5 — Very confusing

*2021-04-14, version 2.5.4*

I tried to put a grid but the gird is really uneven and it doesn’t adjust to how I want it to. The options are just so weird

### 1/5 — It doesnt even make sense

*2020-06-18, version 2.5.4*

I downloaded this app so I can finish up some artwork. Turns out it won’t let you upload a image or even change the grid size. And there’s this image behind the grid that tells you how to touch or move things around. THAT doesn’t go away. Please don’t download this app. It’s pointless and waste of my time.

### 1/5 — Crashes

*2020-05-11, version 2.5.4*

No point in downloading.

### 1/5 — Drawing grid

*2019-12-08, version 2.5.4*

Downloaded this so my son could draw but he wanted a grid so he could line things up but even though it is called drawing grid you can not draw

### 1/5 — Awful

*2019-10-10, version 2.5.4*

Can’t figure it out. No help from app. Do not waste your money on upgrade

### 1/5 — Awful, non-user friendly

*2019-09-01, version 2.5.4*

This app is not user-friendly, freezes frequently, and barely works to make in-app purchases worth it. I’ve resorted to doing the grid, then taking a screen shot of the image given how inconsistent the save & send features are. Trash.

### 1/5 — Love the idea... only if the app worked :/

*2019-08-17, version 2.5.4*

easy to maneuver, app just didn’t let me save the photos :(

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — A little agro, but worth the trouble

*2021-04-30, version 2.5.4*

This app sure as heaven is a lot easier on the eyes than printing your image out on a crappy, ancient office printer, drawing an inaccurate grid on it, and then trying to make sense of the godforsaken splotches. I was literally just about to quit in my latest mural project due to the above mentioned situation and then I found this app! Granted, now I have to wash the wall and redraw the grid to be consistent with the grid laid down by the app, but I already feel calmer and happier knowing that I can just zoom in on individual squares in Photos. I think this is the start of a beautiful friendship.

### 5/5 — Works wonderful!

*2020-04-13, version 2.5.4*

I’ve had no glitching problems like the other ratings say, and my drawings have improved so much thanks to the grid! I use it for all my drawings now

### 5/5 — Glitches, but can be made to work

*2020-01-25, version 2.5.4*

I see a lot of people having the same issue as me! There sadly is no way to save the image without jumping through a few hoops first- but after you do so the app works great and the grids are high quality!

How to save (requires Instagram or Snapchat or some sort of photo sharing site)

Step 1: create your grid image

Step 2: from the same button you’d “save the image” from, click the share button instead.

Step 3: click your chosen photo sharing app

Step 4: post/ send yourself the image

Step 5: depending on the app, you can save the image from there or screen shot it.

After you do this, the grids a great quality and doesn’t reduce the photo at all :)

Hope this helps!

### 5/5 — Good app for artists

*2019-11-03, version 2.5.4*

This is good app for those who wants to draw an image proportional

### 5/5 — this app saved my butt -Again!

*2016-12-14, version 2.5.1*

please keep this app in good shape with updates & such!

it ACTUALLY WORKS!

ok i might suggest a slight tweak so that 1:1 ratio actually gives real squares, but being able to use ANY photo... with ANY ratio is The Most Critically Important thing this app does!

thank you!

### 5/5 — Wow

*2015-08-23, version 2.0*

It's the best app ever 😍

### 5/5 — Great

*2015-07-11, version 2.0*

This app is really useful for making grids and drawing! Just screenshot the grid and it's just fine!

### 5/5 — My fave app

*2015-05-25, version 2.0*

I love this app because I used to have to print off pictures, draw the grid, draw the grid on my paper, make sure they were the same size etc. now all I do is upload the picture, draw the grid on my paper and I'm good to go.

### 5/5 — Great, needs work

*2014-03-23*

So save photos by clicking bottom button and on- off
This app needs a settings page, not screen clutter.
The update ruined the functionality on iPad mini as everything slides with the slider adjustment
Please fix
You need to add a save button for user settings, we don't want to have to readjust everything 9x a day.
You need to lose the opening instructions page, you have done a great job of natural use of ipad gestures, so add a settings page and an instructions page and de-clutter the app.
Lose the slider buttons on the slider panel on the bottom, as said, they don't function now.
Get rid of the huge color buttons, move them to a settings page, I feel like I am using an app made for my 2 year old with huge buttons like that, it clutters your app, and like the "store" button? !?! It's huge like a dinner plate, move it to a "settings" pop up page,
The only thing on your home page should be pop up page options, your app now has 3 pages, lose 2 of them, make it one page with pop up options
Great job on larger central axis
Great job on the thicknesses, but again, De-clutter, and allow user settings to be saved.
Cheers

### 5/5 — Does exactly what it says it does.

*2013-08-18*

Excellent app. It does, actually, allow you to scale your image size, as well as the proportions of the grid. Take a screen shot to capture the marriage of grid and image. Print it for reference.

One suggestion though: the ability to confirm the grid ratios would be fantastic: i.e., 1:1; 2:3; 3:4, etc. There are times you need 1:1, in order to make the proportions come out. Also the ability to add, in another color cross and diagonal lines and additional divisions for quartering the square, or octing it. Or dividing into tri- divisions over top of the grid, like different layers. Perhaps even placing the grid exactly where you want it, for instance, placing the center lines where you want them.

Thank you very much for a very useful utility and artist's tool.
