I think many reviews neglect to mention how accessible the interface is for children. I think this app has been well thought-out with a wide variety of tools that are easy for youngsters to find and use. I hope the developer continues to keep it simple.

Look,I like this app. Though I was working on a picture,I saved the picture and when I tried to use the undo button, after a few times it didn’t work! I had to start ALL over again! And I cried! I suggest you could fix in a update. Other than that it’s a good app.

I love it, I used it to copy mario and I was nearly finished when the app sent me to the home screen. I checked in the album but it wasn’t there. So I started all over again 🙁. Like, should I even use THIS app or should I use those amazing free apps with 8k and more features?

Theoretisch tolle App. Folgende Schwächen führen dazu, dass ich von dem Kauf stark abrate:

1. Die Bilder sind nur über das integrierte Album erreichbar. Man kann sie also nicht einfach mit einer anderen App öffnen. Einzige Ausnahme ist die Teilen-Funktion. Das geht aber nur für jedes Bild einzeln. Zudem sind hierfür für jedes Bild zahlreiche Schritte erforderlich.

2. Bei uns stürzt das Programm seit mehr als einem Jahr ab, sobald man im Album ein Bild erreichen möchte, die nicht auf Seite 1 liegt. Faktisch kann das Programm dadurch maximal 24 Bilder gleichzeitig verwalten (diese Zahl gilt zumindest bei der Bildschirmgröße eines iPad 8).

Das diese App dennoch so gute Bewertungen bekommt, erkläre ich mir damit, dass viele Bewertungen vor dem 25. Bild geschrieben werden. Wenn ein Kind und viel mit dem Programm arbeitet, ist der Frust gros, wenn es mehr als 24 Bilder nutzen möchte. Ich empfehle daher direkt den Schritt zur kostenlosen Alternative Scretchbook. Das hat die oben genannten Schwächen nicht, ist aber in der Bedienung etwas weniger leicht zugänglich.

This app is absolutely brilliant for all ages! It doesn’t force you to buy a premium like all other drawing pads do, and it also, remarkably, has NO ads-they make their money off of one dollar coloring books you can buy in game instead. It works for drawing, painting, and gradient (smear tool!) and also for photo editing (you can take a photo from your gallery and stamp it down on the page) I can’t think of any issues I’ve had. Oh, wait, layers-so that you don’t have to worry about coloring in lines and you can delete an unwanted layer easily-I’m clearly not good at describing layers but I would really like it if the devs looked into layers and added a feature like that. Please also add an option where we can add filters to our drawings, however I’m not too hung up on these requests and, although I do think they would improve the game, it’s plenty good for now, at least for me! I especally recommend for non-professionals who just wanna have some fun, not pay some subscription.

Ten years ago, 5 year old me was visiting the Apple Store with my parents. There happened to be a table in which you could play and test out their tablets. This app happened to be on the tablets, and I was instantly hooked! It was easy to use and very exciting to explore all of the different tools. I begged my mother to let me download this app onto my own tablet, and she let me. It was one of the best downloads I have ever made, even to this day. This app has made my artwork better. Unlike other apps with overwhelming tools and settings, this app is simple, but still enjoyable! I would like to thank those who made this app, as it really sparked my creativity at a young age. This nostalgic app is one-of-a-kind, and I hope to keep using it in the future! Download this app!!!

Using this app for some years now but i’m sad to see it’s not updated for a long time. Should be nice to have more options like opacity, more colouring books or possibility to insert pictures to colour. Can we expect upgrade in the future?

Actually this is a very good app easy to use and versatile. It just lacks a few very basic things that would make it great. A ruler for straight lines and a way of creating shapes circles squares etc. Such simple stuff would make all the difference.

I’m glad you fixed the update! But now whenever I press the arrows to get to my other drawings, it kicks me out of the game and it’s really annoying. Could you please fix that?

I really do love this app, but it has a huge problem that is really frustrating me: it sometimes randomly deletes your drawing. Often, you can restore it by clicking the undo button, but most recently, the undo button did not show up!

If I were a child, this would literally be devastating. Since I am a grownup, I am simply very, very disappointed.

Please, have a way to restore old versions of a drawing, or fix this awful deleting glitch.

Please let me know if there is a way to restore a drawing that the app decided to completely erase.

The simplicity of this app for drawing /painting whatever you want 
encourages spontaneity and adventure. Easy to erase and to unerase! Saved work can later be modified. Fun, fun, fun!

NEED A DATE DRAWN!! My daughter has played on this for a few years since I bought my iPad. She likes it, although finds the drawer that partially covers the painting confusing (have a lot of paintings from her with 80% of the painting completed at the rest is white!)
However the reason I have given it 3 stars is because a few years down the line, you will have no idea when your child painted or drew their work of art. The developers left out a crucial date stamp, so there is never anyway to know. You will only get the date stamp of the day you pull them off the application.

I was a drawing a picture of someth8ng but it was deleted because the apps kicked me out, then when I went to album I doesn’t appear, i,redewre and save, I chose it as backdrop for new sketch, add more stuff, got angry cuz the stuff I added keeps hiding, then it kicks me out again!

I first purchased this app in 2012 when I got my first iPad (not sponsored) it was free, and it did not glitch. I went to redownload 
It and come to find out it’s 6 dollars?! For an outdated glitchy app? My drawing kept crashing. I’ve been drawing with you guys for over 10 years, marking up the price seems greedy. :)

It says it's free to download for the month of August, so I'm not going to be charged the$2.something right? Cause when I wanted it the amount came up and that's the only way it let me download. This is a really good app, Ive used it for a ton of yrs, you can use photos and draw on them, you can make posters blend things and so much more! It’s great for kids and adults, really simple and easy, it’s my go-to app for drawing, posters and other stuff. If you’re looking for a reliable app then I highly recommend this app. 

You can zoom in and out, it even shows an album of all your drawings, there are some colour in pages for little kids, and some advanced tools for the pros

Unfortunately, I don’t think Ive seen an update in yrs, but it doesn’t really need any, I haven’t found any bug’s and don’t think it needs anything else

I overall give it a five star rating, because I think it’s a great app, it’s definitely aimed at younger kids and beginners, but some advanced people might like to use it if their looking for a more simple approach

Hallo liebe Entwickler, 

das ist wirklich eine tolle App.
Beide Kinder benutzen diese App schon seit Jahren (Start mit circa vier Jahren, ansonsten sind aber keine Apps bis jetzt erlaubt)

Zwei Verbesserungsvorschläge. 

1. Gerne gerne noch mehr Malbücher -  mehr geht immer ;-)
2. Gibt es vielleicht eine Möglichkeit, eine Importfunktion für einfache schwarz-weiß ausmalbilder zu integrieren? Finde, das könnte man euch auch durchaus als in der Kauf zusätzlich bezahlen. Vielleicht denkt ihr mal drüber nach…..

As a user of this app I have noticed that you cannot have layers. I think this should be an update to the app. I also think that it it would be helpful to other people using this app. Other than the layer thing, the app is great.
