Books & Reading Tracking: You can now track your books alongside your favorite entertainment. Log reading progress, organize your personal reading library, and discover new titles.

Filters & Customization: Added global media visibility settings. You can now toggle movies, TV shows, games, or books on or off to curate your preferred media types across search, discovery, and tracking.

Media Viewer & Detail Views: Enhanced video game screenshot viewer with pinch-to-zoom and dedicated landscape rotation mode while keeping the rest of the interface locked in portrait.

Search & Banners: Fixed an issue where franchise and saga banner carousels retained their scroll index across category tabs, now properly resetting position and scroll state upon navigation. Resolved image rendering and sliding glitches in selected game franchise banners.

Alerts & Notifications: Fixed an issue where the release alert bell remained visible for newly launched titles even after release day and reminder deactivation.

Performance & Storage: Smarter local storage and cache management, automatically purging unneeded cached overviews and full-resolution images for inactive items to reduce app footprint.

Bug Fixes & UI:
Resolved an unexpected layout animation glitch when canceling search inside collections.
Fixed an issue where selecting an option or dismissing a collection item menu resulted in a blank/gray screen state.
Localization improvements and overall translation polish.

### 1.4.2 — 2026-09-22

Collections & Customization: You can now set a custom manual order for items in your collections. Filtering and sorting preferences are now saved independently per collection and persist upon reopening. Added a full color picker to customize collections with any hue, plus automatic navigation to newly created collections.

Search & Discovery: Added the library-grade search experience directly inside collections. Introduced dedicated banners for franchises and sagas in Discovery, alongside enhanced query matching to group and find titles with inconsistent regional names or translations.

Episode Tracking & Availability: Marking a mid-season episode now automatically marks all previous episodes as watched. Fixed an issue where rapid reverse-unchecking caused the "Next Up" episode indicator to miscalculate. Added clear status indicators showing whether a TV show is completely or partially available by seasons.

Bug Fixes & UI: Fixed an issue where cover posters were missing after adding new items. General localization polish and resolved missing translations for selected title overviews.
