I understand the app is in early stages but as some others have said car controls and a queue feature would be great. I really can’t complain since the app just works and does what it’s supposed to. Auto downloads, auto queue, silence trimming, playlists. Ideally, as a minimum, we should be able to make a queue based on a list of podcasts, and then as they get added and downloaded, the ad skipping could be done then. **Developer response:** Thank you for checking out drea, and for your review! One small issue I noticed: the forward/back controls on my car’s infotainment system don’t trigger the app’s skip functions. The 30s forward and 15s back buttons work correctly inside the app itself, but not through the car controls, while apps like Pocket Casts handle this properly. Hope this can be added/fixed in a future update! **Developer response:** Will def look into supporting the car controls for back 15 and forward 30. Thank you for sharing that missing functionality. Cheers. ### 5/5 — It works *2026-05-20* It works as expected, Download the episode , click on Find Ads, and listen after ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 2/5 — Doesn’t work *2026-05-21* I do like the UI, which is nice, but besides that, it’s a normal podcast app. I listened to CreepCast and QCODE, and I still get interruptions from ads like Sonos and merch ad reads from CreepCast. ### 3/5 — Core functionality works, but needs more to become main podcast app. *2026-08-25* The ad finding and skipping appears to work very well, however the app’s functionality is still too limited in order to become a replacement for the more established podcast apps. Off the top of my head: - auto downloading of new episodes - automatically search for ads, I don’t know why I need to manually click it for each episode. I understand the app needs to be active, but once in the app, it should just start the process for all downloaded files - automatic deleting of played episodes (immediately or after a delay) - better indication as to whether an episode is played. It’s currently impossible to tell - playlist and automatic adding of new episodes to the playlist ### 4/5 — Really nice app *2026-08-02* Can you add ability to sort by latest episodes? The Ad scan does pick up some false positives like a podcast host just promoting something, I think the ability to keep certain segments would be nice to have for the user so that true Ads can be taken but not the in-podcast sponsee or promotion. Another thing that would be great is the ability to say that a podcast episode has been “mark as played”. This is a great start for this app. Everything works. I am hopeful that future updates will provide an option to delete what was played and automatically play next episode in a series. Also a play next or play last would be great.
