The artwork is decent and there is enough challenge in figuring out how to collect everything that it keeps you going. Unfortunately, there are a few drawbacks as well. There’s some inconsistency to the many items that require a wait before use. You can always use gems to speed up wait times, but one annoyance is that some things give you a countdown and some do not. Also, some items are from special or rare events. While some of these events happen more regularly and frequently, some do not. It’s difficult to tell if an event will never recur, leaving a question of whether to abandon and delete collected items from the event to get more space, or keep them around. And while the developers of the game seem to be doing behind the scenes updating once in a while, it feels like they aren’t really developing the game. They seem to be on autopilot, which is enough to keep gems (which are in app purchases) bringing in enough income to keep the game around—but without a whole lot of upkeep. ### 1/5 — Used to be great *2024-11-26* The new merge gameplay style is the worst. The game was so much better when it was a search & find. The characters and art were great, their little sayings were fun and whimsical, and the puzzles were fun. I used to play with my son. This new change is nothing like the old, and it feels like a cheap money-grab game. Also what’s with the old guy character? is that based on someone or something? It was amazing. This is currently a cheap knockoff that totally ruined the whole vibe the game had. Please change it or at least make another app that brings back the old game.
