They’re not simple but also not too difficult, they are complex enough to keep you be interest in the game. I do not purchase any in-app things but still be able to play fairly well and keep progressing in the game which a hugeeee plus for me! Overall, i’d recommend this game as well as any other Kairosoft’s games. It pains me having to write this review because I love kairosoft games and I’ve been playing since I was a kid and I even spent money on them. But after not receiving any help to resolve my issue with Dream Town Story I’m forced to leave a negative review. Don’t download this game, save yourself time and a headache and download a game from a developer that actually cares about its players. ### 1/5 — Hard to earn money *2025-10-31, version 2.29* It has become very difficult to earn money in the game. The amount of money you can earn depends heavily on the location where you invest, and the prices increase constantly. Because of this, it has become tiring and time-consuming to make progress. The graphics are as blurry as if they’ve been soaked in water for three days, the movements are as stiff as a marionette, the plot is so clichéd you can predict every line of dialogue, and the bugs are enough to form a football team. After an hour of playing, my eyes are practically blind, my brain feels ready to explode, and I feel like my IQ is being rubbed into the ground—oh wait, it doesn’t even qualify to rub IQs. It’s just electronic garbage that wastes players’ lives. This is so cheating!!!!! 3 relationships proposals have failed even though their hearts are already full, like the hell man? Then, the research, is so annoying!! We can’t pick which to research, it’s GAMBLING AND WASTING TIME!!! Research buildings for several times and keep getting the same shop like Fast n’ Fried, i currently have like 7 Fast n’ Fried, 7 Bakeries, 5 Fire Hydrants right now which are pretty useless! This game wasted a lot of my diamonds, G, and research points. The CHALLENGE to rank up, why can’t i pick which one to attack? It just attacks randomly and very messy. Can’t even pick which buildings choose to fight. It’s so stupid. This game is new, but very messy. Older games like Ramen Sensei, Pocket Academy are way better. This game is very not clear with their own rules and it’s like gambling. That and having to wait for things to be built just makes it a waiting game. If you like to be creative in how your town looks and you just want to change a couple things, you're out of luck.
