### 5/5 — Stories built for you by you

*2026-08-22*

I have been using Dreambeans and it is a great alternative to endless scrolling apps. What stands out most is the variety of stories it pulls together each day. Instead of a mindless feed, it gives you a concise collection built around your actual searches, habits, and interests. It actually connects the dots from your everyday tools to serve up useful ideas and suggestions that make sense. If something catches your eye, you can tap it to dive deeper and pull in extra details to take action. It is practical, straightforward, and respects your time.

### 5/5 — funny

*2026-08-21*

ts got me slapping my belly giggling and farting

### 4/5 — Motivate

*2026-08-16*

This a great app I loved it like the first five minutes I was in it never felt that way about an app. it’s ordered very colorful and takes pictures from my friends and suggest things that we could do and what I have to do and my procrastinate and I think there’s a good innovation , good job. One thing I’d to add is the length of time to generate a response to a question, it’s hooked up to google apps so one would think that it would take less time to answer.

### 5/5 — Genuinely Thoughtful, Zero-Fluff AI That Respects Your Time

*2026-08-15*

Most AI tools on the market require too much active management—you’re either constantly fine-tuning prompts or getting sucked into another infinite, noisy feed designed purely for engagement. Dreambeans is the exact opposite: practical, intentional, and remarkably well-executed.

It seamlessly connects the dots across your routine, upcoming schedule, and real interests to deliver a concise, beautifully illustrated daily deck. There's no endless scrolling; it gives you the relevant takeaways, lets you do a targeted deep dive if you want to explore further, and then gets out of your way.

It takes digital noise and turns it into clean clarity and useful ideas. I honestly didn't realize how much I needed an experience like this until it became a regular part of my morning. Easily one of the sharpest and most grounded things Google Labs has rolled out. Truly 12/10.

### 2/5 — Beautiful, thoughtful, and difficult to trust

*2026-08-09*

I went into this app genuinely excited because, on paper, it feels like exactly the kind of tool I want: something that can surface interesting information, make connections I wouldn’t have thought of, and help me discover things outside my usual bubble.

There is a lot I genuinely liked. The illustrations are beautiful, the interface is excellent, and several things it surfaced felt thoughtful and unexpected.

My experience with the information it presented was much less positive. I frequently couldn’t tell where information was coming from or how much was source material versus the agent’s interpretation. When I tried to investigate something further, I sometimes found it surprisingly difficult to get back to the original source.

One example involved a conclusion about AI. When I dug into it myself, I discovered the underlying material was an OpenAI announcement. There’s nothing surprising about OpenAI presenting its own work favorably. What bothered me was that I initially experienced the conclusion without that context and only discovered it because I went looking.

Similarly, when I tried to follow an article the app was summarizing, rather than simply opening the original article, I was taken into Google and then an AI-generated Google search. Whatever the reason, my experience was that I couldn’t easily inspect the material behind what I was being told.

A smaller but strangely illustrative example involved my cat, Tuna. The app generated a story referencing Tuna by name and included a super cool and shockingly accurate AI-generated illustration of him playing on some kind of structure. That moment felt personal and genuinely touched me.

But then I got lost. The story suggested Tuna would love some cat apparatus thing whose name I’ve already forgotten, immediately gave me bullet points for how to “build” one, and then provided a link to store where I could immediately buy one. I still didn’t understand what the thing actually was, what it normally looked like, or why cats supposedly liked it. I had gone from a delightful little discovery about my cat to shopping for something I didn’t understand.

When I tried discussing these concerns with the agent, it repeatedly assured me it could adjust things or improve the experience when I was simply trying to understand what had happened and why. I never felt like I got a clear answer.

Taken together, these experiences left me uneasy about trusting information from the app that I don’t already know enough about to independently question. And discovering things I don’t already know is exactly what excited me about the prospect of this app. Rather than feeling like I was exploring and enriching my knowledge, I came away feeling like the app was trying to push me in a prescribed direction.

### 5/5 — Novel app

*2026-08-08*

This is a fun and engaging way to surface things that might interest you but you may not have thought of otherwise. Very unique, and enjoying it so far.

### 5/5 — Ambient Intelligence in Action

*2026-08-05*

I’m not easily impressed. This app is great because it answers the questions you may forget to ask yourself, helps to preplan for events, offers up tailored recommendations and I love how it uses my content to balance imagery and text details. Definitely a 5 star product and I’m eager to see its evolution. It’s become a daily use app on my mobile device.

### 5/5 — Fun personalized daily Pinterest feed

*2026-07-30*

Every day I get a few Pinterest style daily updates with ideas relevant to my schedule and interests. My entire life lives in Google Workspace so it’s incredibly accurate. Would like journaling features

### 2/5 — Stopped working

*2026-07-20*

Worked great for a couple weeks but no longer loads anything after the last update. After providing guidance on subjects I care about, I was getting great articles and event updates that I thought were interesting to read and dig into further
