The difference it makes to watching TV is unbelievable. Being able to control it via this app is just a added bonus. Do yourself a favor and don't just take my word for it. Go to their website and checkout the reviews and then get one for yourself. The other product didn't work as well and required a PC to use it. I opened the box and the instructions were so simple! I stocked the LED strips on the tv and plugged in the cords. You just need to have Bluetooth on and open the app. After an initial setup you just need to have Bluetooth on and it works instantly. I tap on it and the start screen comes up for about a second then right back to the home screen.
