I bought the two subscription and might as well have flushed it down the toilet ### 1/5 — They steal your money *2024-03-18* I paid online 30 dollars and subscribed to get the pro package, It told me my card had been declined but I was charged. So I downloaded the app and tried signing up but apparently “I never did that” and now I’m being asked to pay even more money. They are scammers I want my money back now or for it to actually work. This is not okay. **Developer response:** Hello, You're not scammed in any way. Your credit card was declined and it means you were never charged any money. Plus, you were trying to subscribe to DreamzAR online service which is different than the iOS App for which you put this review. Please reach out to us at dreamzar@immex.tech and we will investigate the issue if you still believe you were charged. I respectfully request you to reconsider this review as it's not applicable to the iOS app. ### 1/5 — Don’t waste your $ *2023-10-16* Very limited plant/tree/shrub selection even with paid version. Unfortunately, is the least helpful of the landscape design apps I’ve tried. (I typically only write positive reviews about apps I’m excited about- this is the 1st time I was motivated enough to leave a negative review) **Developer response:** Sincere apologies from us that the app didn't live up to your expectations. While the app has an inventory of more than 2000 plants/shrubs/tress, and ground covers like mulch, lawn, paving stones, and many garden features, we realized they were hard to find. We have redone DreamzAR's user interface to address some of the issues, including the search functionality. Checkout the latest version on App Store. I purchased an additional 100 and I still get a lot of garbage designs (half my house disappears or a whole new story is added to my house). I am sure there is value in here somewhere to expand my thought process with unique possibilities - it’s just very frustrating. **Developer response:** Sorry about our AI tool that didn't live up to its expectations. Since then we have significantly improved the AI Tools and we sincerely hope you will give us another chance. I request you to try the latest version on the App Store. ### 1/5 — Scam *2023-05-26, version 4.5* Honestly, this is a straight UP scam. There’s no nice way to say it. Way to fail Apple. Thos shouldn’t be allowed on apps. ### 1/5 — Disappointing *2023-05-20, version 4.5* I was wanting to design a native plant garden, but the plant choices are very limited. It was a waste of money. ### 1/5 — Not useful *2023-04-16* This is a poorly designed app with very few plant or garden structure photos. The ground cover tool is awful. There are few photos of common photos of commonly used trees, shrubs, and perennials and most photos that are included are not usable (flowers on single stems rather than plants). **Developer response:** Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on our app. We're sorry to hear that you had a negative experience and understand your frustration with the limited plant and garden structure photos, poor ground cover tool, and unusable flower photos. I can’t move things around efficiently and the second time I tried to start a project it wouldn’t work at all. It said “tap the overlay to get started”. Please give it a try and let us know what you think. ### 1/5 — Only works when you’re onsite *2022-06-05* You can scan an area and drop plants only while viewing the area you selected, through the camera. So you can use it only while you have the app pointed at your yard. It didn’t save anything. Limited options over prices and underwhelming performance or lack there of. It’s as if they have a template, copy and paste. Chat GPT is free and blows this out of the water which is odd and sad. Don’t waste your time. ### 1/5 — Just say no *2026-08-02* Unable to handle even the most basic instruction without locking up. Not ready for prime time app clearly launched way too early ### 1/5 — After only a few minutes ran into a roadblock *2026-07-21* Simple image with a hedge of boxwoods. I asked the AI to replace boxwoods with arborvitae’s. Multiple attempts says it could not generate the image. If it can’t do this simple substitution, their AI just isn’t ready for primetime. ### 1/5 — I try to get a money back guarantee refund and the email address is invalid *2026-04-15, version 6.1* Bad ### 1/5 — Not worth it *2026-04-12, version 6.1* Kept getting errors. Trying to prompt it. ### 1/5 — Don’t waist you money! *2026-03-25, version 6.1* Should have looked at reviews first. This app sucks! Too many erroneous errors, not user friendly among other things. Just the landscaping app I was looking for *2023-03-25* So, this was the first app I came across as I wanted to design my front yard from a photo I took. However, after reading the negative reviews I didn’t download it and kept looking. Found nothing else and thought to give this one a try. I’m glad I did!!! (Maybe they did some updates? But it def works and is easy to use) . I did pay the $15 for the upgraded account to access additional plants, ( and they still need to add to their library) but they allowed me to start the project and play around to get a feel of the app and how it works without paying. After feeling like this was the solution I was looking for,I upgraded. It was exactly what I was looking for. I was able to design my front yard. Had my landscaper over yesterday and showed him and he loved it! Great for DIY’ers as it allows u to visualize the project before. I had ideas in my head I wanted to do, and once I put them in the app, being able to see it, I made some changes to my original vision. Thank you ! It’s easy to scale the plants/trees and position one behind another. Intuitive interface. One idea I have is to sell my just the pic I want. For example, I would buy your gazebo pic for .99 before I’d subscribe for any length of time for all access. Sounds like a win to me..sell items individually or even grouped…maybe I’m only interested in plants, or structures. Please give it a try and let us know what you think. ### 3/5 — AI Is interesting but 2D/3D assets are awful *2024-04-15* Grass for instance, looks like a magic eye from the 90’s that doesn’t do anything when you cross your eyes. Ditto every other asset. Looks truly awful and has nothing on it’s main App Store competitor. However, the AI generated designs are really interesting. Not perfect either, but at least they look a lot better, and can spark genuine ideas. Keeping the app for a month to explore how to best use this mode. If this app fixes 2D/3D assets so that they don’t look like graphics from my early childhood, and marries it with AR, they will have something truly special. If the AI generated content could work in AR mode, again, this could be magic. Until then, I’m taking my subscription elsewhere. ### 3/5 — Existing Photos *2022-03-06* It would be better if you can add in existing photos. I don’t see that option. I only had the app for the day. Please give it a try and let us know what you think. ### 2/5 — Waste of money *2026-02-27* In the world of AI, this app is somehow years behind. You’re better off asking ChatGPT. The 2d modeling looks like something a child would make and the AI images have an EXTREMELY limited amount of options to add to your rendering. I tried the prompt based method and it was like banging my head against a wall. Huge waste of money ### 2/5 — Don’t waste your money *2023-12-27* I should have looked at reviews. I spent $15 to buy credits and then most of the items were locked and they tried to upsell me. Unfortunately, they don’t understand how important the user experience is and they’re more interested in an many money grabs as possible. **Developer response:** We are so sorry that you couldn’t use the app despite buying the credits pack (which is meant for using with AI Landscape Design Stylist feature).
