It’s a decent game, it nails the “Cosy during day, something’s clearly wrong during Night” and nothing beats the “One more fish” at night and dying to your own greed but it can repetitive and a little luck based. And even though the game is fun to play usually and I love the art style, it’s just too expensive for what it is.

If you want to waste time collecting resources to endlessly buy stuff to upgrade and try and figure out the upgrade puzzle in order to make the game interesting, then this is the game for you. And if you like an all female cast (with a few guys thrown in to “be fair”) you’ll absolutely love this. I never knew fishing and fishing towns were all girls.

Game is actually fun and can be addicting. If you think the base game is worth $35 you’re out of line though. AAA games are $70 and this is not anywhere near a AAA game. I woulda bought it if it was more reasonably priced but for me it’s a no.

The game seems fun. Have to grind a bit but story is interesting.
Other platforms like steam are cheaper. The $25 price tag is a bit high for an old game. I heard at release it was like $10. I’d pay that but not $25 for a 3 year old game.

The game is great have been playing it for hours but sometimes you grind and grind to buy something from the shipwrite just for it and your money to disappear and it does get annoying that you have to go grind once again for something. Maybe add a backup for that so if I buy something and it disappears for some reason it automatically goes to your storage.

The game has components that made it very enjoyable, however it lacked in some aspects.
I enjoyed the relatively tolerable grinding for assets/supplies as well as the upgrades. What I felt wanting however was more plot, not to spoil the end but it was rather abrupt and a bit of a downer, especially after you seem to have found a way to correct the situation. Other NPCs I felt could have added more to the enjoyment of the game, at least explain what was going on with the seafloor or the creatures that appeared..Not to say I havent played through twice, as I still find it enjoyable, but I still wanted more substance.

Overall it’s a good concept for a game, but feels undercooked in development. Like they ran out of ideas, time, money, or some combination of the sort. Fishing element of the game was fun but I expected it to get progressively harder or require different skills, etc. None of that. Inventory management on the boat was an acceptable element but somewhat tedious as another reviewer commented. Having to get the boat back in at midnight was a fine concept but the time mechanic moved too fast so it was annoying in execution. Storyline had a whole lot of potential but it just never followed thru. Giving it a charitable 4 start but it’s really a 3.5 from me.

I couldn’t get it to move along in the storyline but bought it anyway because it intrigued me. I connected the developer and he got back to me and got me on my way, a real person! About the game; it’s the most engaging game I have played in years. The environment is wondrous. I can hope they keep expanding it.

Love the game I play it on my MacBook Air, Phone, and console. I don’t regret it, I love simple games but a bit a horror that you need to work around with. I would say anyone buying the expansion will be happy with it but don’t watch gameplay or it ruin the moment, don’t buy it all at once just one at a time.

I love this game I have it on my pc and on the ps5 but it certainly isn’t £25 on either platform so I stuck to the demo version this time, don’t even get me start on the cost of the expansions vs the other platforms.

다만 게임의 분위기나 컨텐츠 적당한 공포요소가 스릴을 느끼게 해 주기 때문에 내 공간을 만들고 지내면서 바다를 또 여행하는 컨텐츠가 있어도 좋을 것 같아요 망원경으로 물고기들을 관찰하며 낚시하는것 너무 재밌었어요 대형어도 잡을 수 있으면 좋겠는데 그건 못해서 아쉽습니다

In my humble opinion, Dredge is genuinely the best Indie game I’ve come across. The foreshadowing, casual gameplay, lovecraftian storytelling, and the overall aesthetic of this game is the closest you’ll ever get to a perfect game. People say it’s too expensive at full price (it does go on sale for ~60% off by the way), but for what you’re paying; it’s an excellent game. I have it on my pc, and just bought it on my phone to play offline while I’m travelling! 10/10.

J’adore, c’est beau, l’ambiance est intriguante et un peu effrayante, ça marche bien, c’est fluide.

Je prends mon temps et le jeu ne me presse pas.

Si vous hésitez vous pouvez tester la démo, c’est bien fichu, et permet de bien tester, sans avoir l’impression d’être forcé d’acheter.

PS : J’ai joué sur Mac, iPad et iPhone et ça marche très bien partout. J’ai joué à la manette et tactile, et les deux marchent bien aussi (je n’ai pas testé clavier souris).

PPS : petit bémol, j’ai parfois des problèmes de conflit entre la sauvegarde locale et la sauvegarde cloud quand je change entre le Mac et l’iPhone, mais ce n’est qu’un petit bémol, parce que l’écran de résolution de conflit est clair, et je n’ai jamais perdu ma progression.
