Or so I thought until I realized you can only get gems by buying them with real life money? And you need gems for every (so far) “challenge” you get. So basically as soon as you run out of the starter gems you can’t really play unless you put real life money into it. Which is extremely disappointing, feels unfair to be forced to pay so much for an in game currency that is used regularly. ### 2/5 — Unable to Use Booster *2026-08-28* Hi, so I activated two different boosters (jackets and hair which I paid for). After only 10 mins the app suddenly crashed and wouldn’t load. I tried many times to reload the app, and it’s updated. I hope this will be rectified. I usually really enjoy this game, and so I started making in app purchases to go further ahead. And this is going to slow down my progress (and I paid for the Luxe Plus package). The changes have not been very positive and it’s making the game harder to play and enjoy without spending money. I understand they want players to pay for things but it’s ruining the game. Also when u start u begin u start with about 40 gems I think but that’s rlly not enough and I think 🤔 u have to buy them which isn’t cheap so I can’t access new hairstyles which annoys me so much. The only thing is that everything is so expensive to buy and the only way to get a lot of the items you need is to buy them. They have “daily goals” but they reset every 45-60 minutes so it’s impossible to complete even half of them because they are not set on a 24hr basis like most all other daily goals in other games. Sometimes all of the requirements do not load (locations, nails, etc). That’s pretty annoying when you’re trying to finish up daily goals and you pay to unlock categories and some of the categories don’t appear. Please fix this ASAP. I finally made it to the icon challenge but can never win it! Whomever is on top always manages to get to 9000 points in a day! Weird! I’ve also noticed that some of the names associated with these top players are the same as ones from previous challenges where, that’s right, they win! The more breaks I take, the more I realise when I come back that the developers have just become more and more money hungry. It’s far too hard to earn credits / dollars on here and I’ve spent far too much money for way too little reward.
