It just keeps doing the “connect to Yi camera” thing like the official Yi dashcam app. Now there is no way for me to download the video clips off the camera, other than to manually do it – remove the microSD card and stick it in a PC media reader. Frustrating! ### 1/5 — Watermark isn’t removed *2019-01-02, version 4.8.3* The app works (sometimes) but when saving video to phone it shows a progress bar that goes to 130% while saying “loading stickers”. Once video is exported, there’s an advertisement bar at top directing you to store your video on the app’s free cloud. Вообще не конектится!!! ### 1/5 — Warning: Do not use this website *2018-09-03, version 4.0.7* Should have done more research. This is NOT the “official” dash cam app for YI, it’s a third party site. The app is very unreliable. Tech support is pretty much non-existent. Accessing videos has been impossible. The app “sort of” worked for just one day, and afterwards the video clips would not be accessible anymore. The screen would just perpetually buffer. The dash cam was fine initially but without a reliable app to access videos (even the direct manufacturer’s site is a waste of time) the camera is useless. Save yourself a headache. Just don't know if I'm missing something, hope it shall have the capability to save videos directly to phone. Kudos and thanks to the developer. ### 4/5 — Much better than the official app *2020-02-11* Don't use the normal yi app. They gouge you for data and force you to provide location services. Don't trust them. The app never used to work that way. Ruined my opinions on the company itself.
