I made sure my phone was fully updated. It has me worried we’re losing customers. I’m writing this review because I hate change and I would rather they just make loading speed a priority. Also it would be nice if we could specify and auto response time that is between the 2 and 5 minute defaults as 3 minutes would be nice, but maybe this is not necessary if we get the notification right away and it loads right away. Chats appear blank, conversations do not load. This version should not have been approved for the app store, it’s totally useless, no idea how it passed basic inspection. What’s even worse — when you try to use their website on mobile, it forces you to download this app. So Drift is basically saying screw their mobile users. When my team opens the app through the push notifications the conversation loads completely blank. When I enter a conversation to see what the prospect is saying and make sure my team has responded I can only see my team members responses. I have to exit the app a minimum of three times before the whole conversation will load. At least twice a week we will have answered a prospect and they respond with “hello?” And state that our response never came through to them. ### 1/5 — What is going on? *2023-04-02, version 3.11.2* The server had gone from bad to worse. I can’t open the chats, and if they open i can’t see the text. My entire team has noticed a huge increase in spam, fake users, etc. I continuously get notified one of my prospects is viewing our webpage and we later come to find it was actually my coworker and it was incorrectly labeling her work computer, that is registered to our company-- as a prospect who lives in another country?? There's no explanation for that... It has come to the point where our team knows not to trust any information. I'm consistently getting fake alerts of people requesting demos, etc. Were also starting to get fake spam form fills flooding our inbound team, and it's made it very difficult to get accurate data. The chat function is fine- but do not trust the data, ever. So spammy. ### 1/5 — How does this have almost 5 stars?? *2023-03-01, version 3.11.1* It’s unreal how bad this app is. The premise of the product is great, but I consistently and persistently have a major issue with notifications. I open the notification that someone sent a message. The result? A blank screen with no text. Quit, re-launch, sometimes the text appears. Other times it stays blank. Other times, I see the chat fine, the convo quiets down and I close the app. Prospect says something and I open the app… the conversation is completely out of order. What?! It’s unbelievable that our team has reported this multiple times with no resolution. It’s not just my device, everyone on my team sees the same behavior. Does Drift not care? Seems like it… the app is garbage and is in desperate need of bug fixes. Lastly, they took away the quick internal note function. Come on!! Now I have MORE taps to write an internal note? Have you done no user research? I wish we could nix this tool and use something else but it’s not my call. ### 1/5 — Notifications don’t work *2023-02-24, version 3.11.1* What good is having the app connected to your website if you don’t get the notification alert of a message for hours or sometimes DAYS after someone has messaged you? It’s better to not have this chatbot that get a bad reputation for being unresponsive to messages.
