If I am in 'Shoot' mode, I need to close the app and reopen to get back to 'Gallery' mode. I just can't use it. Deleted app, reinstalled and same problem. Please fix. I don't understand how so many customers have written so many poor reviews about this app and still nothing changes, no apology, no updates nothing. Coming from the Go-pro app which is instinctive,easy to use and really enhances the user experience in truly working alongside their range of cameras,I am really disappointed in my investment in a Stealth 2-solely due to the lack of support in a woeful app. We're now on iOS 10 and most other developers have have already adapted their apps with tweaks and updates. This app needs a complete overhaul or it will be responsible for customers going elsewhere. Terrible. Mostly just doesn't work, impossible to change any of the device settings without the app immediately quitting. The refresh rate of the image when previewing the shot is so slow as to be unusable. When trying to change the camera settings via the app it crashes. Unacceptable. Although I can download videos from to my iPhone I can't seem to save them in my photo roll short of emailing myself a hugh MP4. If anyone can help with this problem please let me know as I don't have a laptop at the moment. ### 1/5 — Great camera... *2016-08-02, version 1.0.3* Terrible app. The video I captured looked great quality on my phone for the millisecond that it was on the screen. Nothing else has worked however, I can't stream my videos, I got 30% through transferring one before it failed. Please fix this, the hardware seems excellent, however this would be my preferable method of viewing and storing footage. Live view updates its one frame one every five minutes or so, so is not in any way live. When they finally connect the screen freezes and audio latency. When you hit record the screen goes white and you can't see anything it is recording. Rendering all functions but record useless. I bought a camera that can't be used. Bummer. ### 2/5 — Too Much Lag *2015-12-21, version 1.0.3* I was hoping this app would give a nice, smooth view of what the Drift sees so I could easily adjust it on my motorcycle and helmet. Instead there is about a 5 second lag alone with the screen glitching. I am using an ipad mini 2 and a Drift Ghost S. I give it 2 stars since you can still use it if you hold it really still for 5 seconds. I have the Ghost Xl and an iPhone 13 Pro. This app is not functional. While the camera itself is fine the app can not connect to the camera. The live view just crashes everything. You can’t even sync a video via WiFi. Why can my actual Canon Digital Camera do these functions quickly and smoothly. It makes it so painful to use. I like my Ghost S except when it freezes and does not record. This is a recurring issue, not only these but just tried their new app. Same again, it crashes. Come on Drift, sort it out. I'm now at the point of telling people don't buy drift. Giving me the ability to change settings easily. Also great being able to save all footage to my iPhone when on the mountain and then upload to social media. Allows to configure camera settings from the app. You can view videos stored on the camera without having to copy to the computer. ### 3/5 — Getting There *2015-12-18, version 1.0.3* Now they've eventually ironed out the live view from camera to phone and iPad it's a lot better. I use this at football matches behind a goal so this is a life saver for testing the view. Just need Apple Watch support and it'll be perfect. ### 3/5 — Room for improvement. *2015-10-28, version 1.0.2* Overall the app works, although I can't speak for other users, on the iPhone 6s Plus the live feed crashes every time I try and use it, this makes framing the video a pain as you need to record a short clip and then check it before committing to the camera position. When trying to playback files on the phone when connected via Wi-Fi to the camera it keeps crashing. Can't see a way of saving videos to my phone it self just to the local part of the app then getting them from there to anywhere else is almost impossible. Like the camera it self much more than my gopro but the gopro app is hands down way more useful than this one. Few improvements to the app to match the gopro one and I would give 5stars. ### 2/5 — Needs investment *2016-07-27, version 1.0.3* This goes with the stealth 2 camera which is pretty good so please spend some money and fix this app. The wifi connection is terrible always crashing and playback is so tedious. If I change any settings in the app it crashes on my phone and you have to start again. Brutal.... ### 2/5 — Drift Connect *2016-02-14, version 1.0.3* Poor software quality is the most obvious trait. Crashes, refusals to connect, long pinwheels while connecting and downloading give competitors with fewer features the opportunity to overtake this seemingly excellent product. It is apparent Drift has no software quality assurance efforts and does not test their product in any significant fashion.
