## What is Drift?

See what a price abroad costs back home at a glance. Drift is a currency converter for travelers, tourists, digital nomads, expats, and anyone shopping in a foreign currency. Instead of entering an amount, use a ready-made table of round local prices alongside their value in your home currency.

GLANCE AND KNOW
Browse ten round amounts at a time, then tap any row to see nine values in between. Swipe to change the scale from 0.1 to 1,000,000, or swap the conversion direction with one tap.

COMPARE MULTIPLE CURRENCIES
Enter an amount in any row to update three or more currencies at once. Add, subtract, multiply, or divide in the field to work through receipts, and drag to reorder or swipe to remove currencies.

SEE THE FEE MATH
Add a conversion fee from 0.5% to 5% and choose whether it applies to a card payment or cash exchange. A live example shows the difference. Turn the fee off to see the mid-market rate.

KEEP WORKING OFFLINE
Saved rates keep the table and calculator available without internet or roaming. Check when rates were last updated, including while offline, and refresh them manually when you’re connected.

Rates are daily reference mid-market rates from central bank open data, not real-time market quotes.
