## What is Driftor?

Know when you're ready to focus — and when to rest.
Most of us guess at when to do our hardest work. We push through a bad-sleep morning and get nowhere, then waste our real peak hours on busywork. Driftor gives you an outside read on your own body, so you can work with your rhythm instead of against it.
HOW IT WORKS
Driftor reads the signals from Apple Health that research links to recovery and cognitive readiness — sleep, circadian timing, hours since waking, resting heart rate, and heart-rate variability. It scores them against your own personal baseline and tells you, right now, whether you're in a strong window for deep work.
You'll see one of three clear states, always with the reasoning in plain language:
• Primed — a good window for deep work, with an estimated length
• Not now — better to wait; Driftor can notify you when you're primed
• Recovery — your signals suggest rest would serve you better
A FOCUS TRACKER THAT LEARNS YOU
Driftor isn't only a predictor — it's a tracker. Start a focus block when you're primed, or log work anytime, even in a low-readiness window. Each session records its context and your own quality rating, so over time Driftor learns when you actually do your best work. Your weekly report surfaces your best windows, quality trends, and personal patterns.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your health data stays on your device and is never sent to us or any server. Your focus history syncs only through your own private iCloud, so a new iPhone continues where you left off. No account. No tracking. No backend.
HONEST BY DESIGN
When Driftor doesn't have enough of your history yet, it tells you it's still learning rather than faking a confident call. Its reads get more specific as it learns your patterns.
WORKS WITH YOUR IPHONE
Driftor works with the health data your iPhone already collects. An Apple Watch adds richer recovery signals and sharpens the read, but isn't required.
DRIFTOR PRO
Free includes today's readiness and focus tracking. Pro adds predicted upcoming windows, your full focus history and patterns, and "notify me when I'm primed" alerts.
