## What is Driftsea?

Driftsea is a sea driven by real ocean currents.

Write down what you want to set down, cast it into the sea, and let the currents carry it away. You can also draw up fragments others have let go of — ownerless, anonymous, and yours only to read. This isn't social; there is no way to contact anyone. It's simply a place for feelings to go.

· Real ocean-current simulation — every piece you cast drifts along genuine sea currents
· Time softens the words, the way seawater blurs old ink
· Want it back? Set sail on an expedition to retrieve it — but the longer you wait, the more it costs, and once it slips past the horizon it sinks for good

· A private box keeps what you've drawn up; gentle, non-competitive badges mark your moments with the sea

Casting is always free. Drawing up is always free.
Your words are encrypted with a key that never leaves your device — only you can retrieve them. We can't read them, and we never sell your data.
