While this app is a great reference for ingredients it doesn’t tell you how to build ANY of the cocktails - literally zero of them. It doesn’t tell you if they’re shaken, stirred or built in a glass. I might as well use Google. ### 1/5 — Takes your $6 and crashes *2021-01-26* The free version of the app was great. When I upgraded to “pro,” it charged me and then crashed. Every time I go through the process it crashes, and doesn’t remember that I subscribed. I even tried reinstalling. Took my money though. **Developer response:** Hi there. I'm terribly sorry you had this experience. Apple has been slow to approve our new in app purchase, even though it is live in the app (not the ideal process I know). That's what caused the crash. Don’t upgrade to PRO *2022-01-15* This app is only helpful as a reminder of which book you read a drink recipe in. That’s it. The upgrade to PRO is not worth it at all. It gets hung up searching for basic ingredients. It shows no measurements for The Drunken Botanist recipes even after upgrading. The design looks like it came out of a “learn to make your own app” starter pack. There is no copy about the origins of the drinks or tasting notes. This app is halfhearted in almost every way. Steer clear. **Developer response:** I'm bummed you felt this way, and have worked on updating the search and look and feel. Please check out the new version. Upgraded twice now… *2021-03-13* But...Still no specified ounces or cm’s noted etc... Fell in love with your wonderful unique crafted cocktails… Especially the cucumber and elderflower ones or those with special ginger syrup and ginger beer… Please don’t fail me now Help I’m 11 bucks in and keep deleting and then downloading the app and it’s not changing at all It’s still the basic one that I had for ### 5/5 — Very useful app *2022-02-06* Especially since none of the main cocktail books are indexed well enough to answer questions like ‘what can I make with lemon and bourbon’ or ‘what are all the drinks in here that use Campari’. I’d love to see the new Death & Co book (Welcome Home) added to the lineup here. ### 5/5 — A must get with all the best cocktail books *2020-07-08* Wonderful index of all the best cocktails any bartender amateur or professional should know. It doesn’t have quantity so you need to buy the books.
