Whether you're focused on staying hydrated or enjoying a social get-together, DrinkDuel adds a layer of friendly competition to every sip. Create & Join Duels: Start a "Hydration" duel to see who can meet their water goals first. Kick off a "Social" duel for friendly competitions during any event. Easily join a friend's session with a unique 6-character code. Flexible & Powerful Drink Logging: Log drinks in seconds with quick-add buttons for common beverages. Create and save your own custom drinks for repeated use. Our flexible system allows you to track a wide variety of drink details to fit your needs. DrinkDuel crunches the numbers for you. Live Leaderboards & Stats: Watch the competition unfold in real-time with a live leaderboard for every session. See who's in the lead, check your rank, and monitor everyone's progress toward the session goal. View your personal drink log for any session, with details on what you drank and when. Session Map: See where the action is happening! Every drink logged with location services enabled drops a pin on the session map, creating a visual story of your duel. ## Version history (last 3 releases) ### 1.0.2 — 2025-08-18 This update is all about polish and performance! We've added a much-requested feature to the sign-up process and squashed a ton of bugs to make your duels fairer and more reliable. New Feature: Add Profile Picture on Sign-Up: You can now choose a profile image right when you create your account to personalize your profile from the very beginning. Performance & Optimizations: Faster, Lighter Images: All profile images are now optimized and compressed upon upload. This means they'll load quicker and use less data and storage space. Bug Fixes & Logic Improvements: Consistent Ranking: We've fixed a bug where your rank could appear differently on the home screen versus the in-session leaderboards. Your rank is now consistent and accurate everywhere. All Drinks on the Map: Resolved an issue where some users' drink pins would disappear from the map. Now, every drink logged with a location will appear correctly for all participants. Smoother Sign-Up: Fixed a race condition during account creation that could cause confusing error messages. The sign-up process is now seamless and reliable. Smarter Participant List: The participants tab in a duel is now sorted more intuitively, with the host and you at the top, followed by an alphabetical list. More Accurate Calculations: Added more flexibility for custom drink creation to allow for even more accurate tracking. This update is packed with new features and key improvements to make your sessions more flexible, stable, and fun. New Features & Enhancements: Flexible Custom Drinks: You asked, we listened! You can now create custom drinks and track their contents with more detail and flexibility than ever before. Smarter Map: The session map now includes a "Center on Me" button. Just tap the location icon, and the map will zoom to your current location. We've even added a loading indicator for a smoother experience. Faster Image Loading: No more waiting for profile pictures to reappear! We've implemented a new caching system that keeps images loaded, making navigation between screens faster and more seamless. Bug Fixes & Performance: Improved Session Stability: We've resolved a critical bug that caused data from different sessions to get mixed up. Now, both your active and past session stats will always be accurate and contained. Home Screen Stats: Fixed an issue where the stats on the Active Session card would disappear after navigating back to the home screen. Your live stats are now always visible. General Performance: Squashed several minor bugs and improved overall app stability. We're always working to make DrinkDuel better.
