Too many brews wasted trying different recipes and now I can sit back and enjoy my favorite roasts. Chromatic is my favorite (hope they bring back the Peruvian beans), so you already know they’re legit. Already my interest is piqued with the cbd coffee, maybe some chagga mushroom coffees up next?

Just starting to get into making coffee so I was excited when I saw this app. I read the description and it seems right up my alley. However, I ran into a huge road block on the second page. The app wanted my name. Why does a coffee making app need my name? So, I’m deleting this app because I’m unable to move forward past this step without providing my name.

On a quick UX tangent, the error message I received when trying to move past this step was unhelpful and condescending. Please explain to me why you need my name. What benefit do I receive by providing this information? Also, what’s your privacy policy? How are you protecting this information? Also, the error message ended with a, “You do have a name, right?”. My response to that is, you do want me to use your app, right?

The information I need from this app (coffee recipes) shouldn’t require my info in return. Can’t even skip the name portion and I didn’t get further than that.

Why do I need to put my name into a recipe app? I just want to view recipes you don’t need my personal info for that. 

Couldn’t skip the name requirements so I deleted this app in less than a minute.

The Brew Journal is here to help you keep track of your coffee notes!

See individual Brew History for each of your recipes, or visit the Brew Journal from the main menu to see all your past brews. Leave star ratings, jot down which beans you used, and take any notes in case you want to look back on any details.

Other additions in 2.1 include new brew method artwork and minor bug fixes. Enjoy, and thanks for your support!

### 2.0 — 2020-01-11

Drippy 2.0 is here with plenty of new features and a sleeker interface to help you brew your best coffee yet. This update includes:
• New Brew-torial: The new brew tutorial has an overview page with more information on each brew method, recipe descriptions, and... coming soon, Brew History and an option to change the vessel size before starting! Other small tweaks include a preview of upcoming steps and haptic feedback when a timer finishes.
• New Recipe Builder: Better optimized for different screen sizes, the redesigned builder has a field for descriptions, highlights your variables, and shows you a live ratio of coffee to water in your recipe.
• New Settings page: We redesigned the settings page to look nice. It’s also got a link to contact us, apply to join the Drippy Beta, and follow us on Instagram! (You should!)
• UI Improvements: Drippy has a long list of UI upgrades in 2.0, including new full-screen button styles, a new dashboard filter selector, new modals, new animations, and more.

### 1.1 — 2019-10-04

In this version, we have introduced two completely new vessels, including the ability to do cold brew with the Mizudashi! To create a cold brew recipe, select Mizudashi in the builder and you will have the option to customize the recipe the way you want. We have also added the Kalita Wave, which is another popular type of pour-over vessel. In addition, there are minor UI tweaks and improvements around the app, including some new icons and styles. As always, let us know your feedback and thoughts for the next version of Drippy!
