## What is Drive AQI?

Know what you're breathing — right on your dashboard.

Drive AQI shows the live Air Quality Index for wherever you are, and puts it where no other app does: on your CarPlay Dashboard, right next to the map.

Start a drive, and a glanceable color-coded AQI card follows you — on your car's screen, your Lock Screen, and the Dynamic Island. As you drive, the reading updates automatically, so you'll know when to switch to recirculated air, roll up the windows, or reroute around the smoke.

WHY DRIVERS LOVE IT
- Live US EPA Air Quality Index (0–500) with familiar color categories, from Good to Hazardous
- CarPlay Dashboard card via Live Activities — no setup, no extra hardware, works in any CarPlay car
- Updates as you move, roughly every 1 mile (2 km), plus regular refreshes when you're parked
- Pollutant details at a glance: PM2.5, PM10, and ozone
- Also appears in the Dynamic Island and Apple Watch Smart Stack

PERFECT FOR
- Daily commuters in smog-prone cities
- Families driving through wildfire season
- Runners and cyclists timing their outdoor training
- Anyone with asthma or allergies who plans around air quality

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your location is used for one thing only: fetching the air quality around you. Nothing is stored, no account is required, and there are no ads, analytics, or tracking. Ever.

REQUIREMENTS
CarPlay Dashboard cards require iOS 26 or later and a CarPlay-compatible vehicle. The app, Lock Screen, and Dynamic Island features work on any supported iPhone.
