### 3/5 — Reverse

*2019-01-22, version 2.3.6*

I had difficulty typing the letters of words backwards, due to the small size of the keyboard!

### 4/5 — More content please!

*2018-06-22, version 2.3*

Especially videos!

### 3/5 — Report a drunk driver

*2014-08-10, version 1.9*

There was not a warning that pressing on "Report A Drunk Driver" would immediately dial 911 from my phone. I accidentally dialed them and wasted their time explaining that I was simply checking out an app. Perhaps a pop up screen would save some EMS time and resources.

### 3/5 — Woah!

*2014-03-15, version 1.8*

Better give me the keys, bro!

### 2/5 — Weight

*2013-03-17, version 1.2*

As a large man, I was a little shocked to see that the weight only went up to 300lbs.

### 4/5 — Go App Go! No Googles Please.

*2013-03-17, version 1.2*

I like this app that helps people drink safer and use technology to help them get home. The Drunk Goggles on the other hand are not accurate at all. Times that I have been drunk I have never seen stuff like that. Is it also an app to see if you are too high to drive or just an entertainment value to the app. If your going to keep it on a serious note please remove the goggles.

### 3/5 — Add feature

*2013-03-17, version 1.2*

I think this App can be very useful for those needing a ride home after drinking. The BAC feature is interesting however it's estimates seem like they would be inaccurate (have not used this feature yet). The one thing this App could use is a feature that allows you to report possible OWI suspects (a simple quick link to call police). This App has way more potential and with continued research & funding it can reach that 5 star rating. Keep up the good work.

### 2/5 — Ok but not great

*2013-03-16, version 1.2*

What's with all this dude stuff? They have to say that because today's youth only responds to "cool" stuff like dude? Besides I'd love to skate and snowboard drunk, that wouldn't be crazy dude.

### 1/5 — Waste of taxpayers money

*2013-03-16, version 1.2*

This money should have been spent on the o-face office space guy to pay him to randomly walk into bars and tell everyone they're buzzed and they should just ride home with him... But that would be a waste of taxpayer money I guess.

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2013-03-15, version 1.2*

If the state is going to promote this app as useful and fun then it should be helpful. This was the biggest waste of time. Did you know that a 200 lb female I still buzzed after 1 drink and 8 hours? It would not have been hard to make this a little more realistic.

### 1/5 — The boy the cried wolf

*2013-03-15, version 1.2*

How can anyone take this app seriously? A 300 pound man who has 1 drunk is 24 hours is apparently buzzed and should be driving. That is ridiculous and will only make people think the app is a joke and pretty worthless.

### 3/5 — Ok

*2013-03-15, version 1.1*

Some of this app is ok and some is just plain stupid. Cab numbers for area are great! Get rid of the stupid voices every time you push a button. The estimator is just dumb. It says you are buzzed for anything you put in. Again the audio is just annoying! I think the estimator result should just show the est bac and maybe a warning when you hit a .05.

### 1/5 — Awful

*2013-03-14, version 1.1*

I would have to agree... Why is the state wasting money on garbage like this? And you run radio commercials to promote this sorry excuse for an APP. Amazing someone actually has a job to think this crap up. At least make it reasonable... A 300lb guy has a drink over a three hour period and has a 0.0% level and it says "You're buzzed, you shouldn't drive" way to throw our money away WI!

### 1/5 — Useless Crap.

*2013-03-12, version 1.1*

Dear Government,

Please stop wasting our money on crap like this.

Sincerely,
-Phuc Yu

### 1/5 — It says never drive!

*2013-03-11, version 1.1*

No matter how many drinks you have, it says you shouldn't drive. While this may or may not be correct advice, why do you need an app to tell you this?

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — What a joke!

*2013-08-30, version 1.4*

This is comically bad, annoying voice and inaccurate.

### 1/5 — Not accurate

*2013-03-20, version 1.2*

Buy a breathalyzer or take a class if your going to be a risk to yourself or others

### 1/5 — Annoying

*2013-03-18, version 1.2*

I didn't have time to try out any of the features because the app won't shut up! Stop talking to me!!

### 1/5 — Pretty lame

*2013-03-18, version 1.2*

Any drink is titled "bad news", lame voice. I have an old paper wheel (like a slide rule - weight, drinks, time) that gives decent results without the lame comments or titles.

### 1/5 — Total fail

*2013-03-17, version 1.2*

It shows trail vision after just one beer. Yeah if the beer is one gallon or so. Don't waste your time like i did

### 1/5 — A sad, pathetic attempt

*2013-03-17, version 1.2*

All five star reviews were written by the creators and promotors of this app. Every feature on this app is garbage except for the cab service locator that any smartphone can already do. The app talks in a lame "bro dude" voice for every button you select, including upon launch of the app, with no mute button. The goggles are an embarrassment to everyone involved. Four beers and vertical doorways become horizontal? Get real! This app is aimed more at steering 13 year olds away from alcohol than keeping grown adults from getting behind the wheel. Shame on DOT for every aspect of this app.

### 1/5 — Junk

*2013-03-17, version 1.2*

Junk way to go Wisconsin wasting our tax money I want a refund of my taxes

### 1/5 — What a joke

*2013-03-16, version 1.2*

I can't believe tax money was wasted on this piece of junk. Note to developers: Nobody talks like that! Used it for a drinking game though so it wasn't a total waste.

### 1/5 — Reverse psychology

*2013-03-16, version 1.2*

This app is terrible and is a widely inaccurate representation of the effects of drinking. It is the same mantra taught to children in high school and middle school. The effects of drinking are sensationalized in this app, specifically with the beer goggles function. It's over the top, dramatized propaganda like this that actually makes teens want to drink in order to rebel in the first place. That is not to say that drinking and driving is not stupid and terribly dangerous, in fact I have lost friends due to it. But if we want to prevent this kind of behavior we need to be honest with the youth and teach them the consequences of drinking and driving in a more realistic way.

### 1/5 — An update, already?

*2013-03-16, version 1.2*

Just announced and flaws identified and patched in one day. The lack of mute was a joke and embarrassing and the BAC meter telling me not to drive buzzed with a 0.0 BAC was interesting.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — DD

*2014-08-23, version 1.9*

Driving drunk isn't cool dude.

### 5/5 — What a great idea!

*2014-02-18, version 1.6*

A ton if useful information and I love the goggle affect and DD selector. Very impressive!

### 5/5 — Fun

*2014-01-07, version 1.5*

I like the spin-the-bottle driver selector! Glad the BAC calculator is better now.

### 5/5 — Really like updated version

*2013-04-11, version 1.4*

This app is very useful especially when you think about drunk bishops plowing into joggers! I like that audio clips can be turned off with mute button and BAC seems to be accurate. I'm going to let all my friends know about this. Don't listen to haters that can find anything to complain about; even an app that can save their lives!

### 5/5 — Good update

*2013-03-16, version 1.2*

Glad that they finally added a mute feature. I opened this app up today in class, with my phone on silent, and the app screamed in that crazy voice "drive sober dude". Needless to say I got some awkward looks.

### 5/5 — Useful

*2013-03-07, version 1.1*

Taxi feature comes in handy downtown Appleton

### 5/5 — Good Work!

*2013-03-06, version 1.1*

This app is fun, useful and my friends thought the Designated Driver feature was cool! Glad to see an app that'll help those who drink alcohol, get home safely.

### 5/5 — Awesome!

*2013-03-06, version 1.1*

I really like the BAC feature to give you a rough idea of where you're at... And the find a ride home feature is nice.

### 5/5 — Good mix of features

*2013-03-06, version 1.1*

The find a ride home feature is nice because it allows you to evaluate all of your options in one search--even if you're in an unfamiliar part of the state. The rest of the features as well as the app as a whole are good for keeping the dangers of drinking and driving top of mind.

### 5/5 — App

*2013-02-25, version 1.0*

Very helpful app. Takes the confusion out of a fun evening!
