It shows one price then changes it to another then usually a third. In the last few weeks my 7:30 car has arrived at 7:10/15. I don't rush around as I booked for 7:30. I've had a couple of drivers knock on the door and ask why I'm not in the car - to which I have politely replied "I booked it for 7:30, need to sort my dogs out and I'll be out" Unfortunately, had a car last week that arrived at 7:14, got the automated call. Walked out my front door at 7:20 to find no car. Came back inside and checked the app as I know drivers sometimes decline jobs so it's reassigned but nothing. Tried to book another and couldn't get one. Booked with an alternative company. Cost me £6 more and I was late to work. Checked my emails once underway, to see an email saying my journey, booked at 7:30 was cancelled at 7:14. Not redirected just a job sheet with a strike through with cancelled. I was out before the time I'd booked for. I've been doing the same trip morning and evening for 10 months! ### 1/5 — APPLE PAY NOT WORKING‼️ *2024-05-22, version 4.6.0* Apple Pay option has stopped working! I do not feel safe, nor i could count on their service to get on time on my appointments. ### 1/5 — Why bother prebook? *2023-12-03, version 4.6.0* Usually prebooking a taxi means you do not have to worry about long waits, your taxi will arrive around the time you BOOK it for. So why on the app do you STILL WAIT to find a driver when you have PREBOOKED IT? Many times I have been late for work due to them trying to allocate me a taxi from the time I’ve booked? Pre booked a taxi well in advance as it’s my daughter’s prom. Half an hour before the taxi was due I got a message saying taxi cancelled! If I’d of known that this is something the company could & will do I definitely would not of booked with you for such a special occasion. So because of being let down at such short notice & no other taxi’s available & no other way to get my daughter to where she needed to be, my daughter missed out on her prom. Both drivers were very good but the lady driver who brought me home went above and beyond. I have mobility issues and she very kindly got out and took my cat carrier safely in the car and on arrival at my house she also jumped out the car, lifted my cat out the car and carried him round to me. Lovely thoughtful and caring lady. Thank you!! She is a credit to Drive ! ### 5/5 — Excellent service *2024-04-30, version 4.6.0* I wouldn’t normally write reviews I read them so I should write them really…I haven’t been using the app for long it was my son who originally started using it and I was constantly getting him to book my taxis, I would transfer the money to him (annoying for him we don’t live in the same house). I decided to take a look for myself….I contacted him in a panic and to his amusement let me panic because I thought I had ordered a taxi from Hull…relieved that the taxi was on time and I didn’t get charged from HULL he told me that it was what the app shows as. I have now used the app a few times and it was for the same reason my son was I don’t carry cash and had problems being able to pay for my journey by card, my partner who thinks he downloaded the app before any of us, yet still can’t use it which is amusing to all considering that it is fairly simple to use (we call it idiot proof to him)as not many drivers had card machines so it would be stopping at ATM. I can’t even say how much now booking a taxi is, you make it clear to the customer everything we need to know about the booking, the apps guide u through the process including the cost but this is the best in my opinion, the DRIVERS ID NUMBER, CAR DETAILS AND FULL NAME OF THE DRIVER IS SENT TO YOU AND LETS U KNOW THE DRIVER HAS ARRIVED AND WHEN THE PASSENGER HAS BOARDED. So to sum it all up…..simple to use app, fantastic service from the start to finish and it’s paid for in advance. In all the time my son has been using app he has encountered one problem which was a taxi from my address to his home went to his house first, ordered another one had to pay again but once disbuted refund was made with in the hour. Well worth the download. I needed a taxi to take me to Humberside Airport for work. I hadn’t used Drive before but was recommended them by a friend. Downloaded the App a few days ago, then pre-booked the taxi. The whole process was extremely easy, the friendly driver arrived at my house early, took me to the airport without fuss, & I was able to make my flight no problem.
