## What is Driveline Dispatch?

Driveline Dispatch: Is a utility application to support the Schoolhouse Driveline Software Suite written for schools requiring a better way to handle student dismissal. Driveline Dispatch is the application used by the schools staff to enter family ID's of the arriving vehicles into the driveline system.

How it works:

Vehicles hang placards in their window with numbers indicating the families they are picking up; we call this number the Family ID.  The staff member enters the family ID's into an iPod Touch, iPhone, or iPad using this application.  Within an instant, the child's names associated with that family ID are displayed on a computer screen or projector in the classroom indicating where the child should go to find their awaiting vehicle.

This app has streamlined student dismissal at my school.  Extremely helpful.

My school implemented the very expensive Driveline program in an attempt to ease traffic. While the system itself does work, this application is very limited. It only offers input of numbers and deletion of current input (there is no possible way to delete accidentally submitted numbers). It's a shame we pay so much for such a simple and limited program.

You now have the ability to search for a student by name.  Clicking on the 'person' icon in the top left of the screen will bring up a student search view. You can then select the desired student and dismiss them right from the search screen.

There is now a new History View. This new view can be accessed by swiping right from the home screen.  This new view will show you the family ID's you have previously entered that day. By clicking on one of the records you have the ability to retract that family ID.

Fixed an issue with no audio on some devices.  Also added the ability for schools to remove a color button if they are not using that color.
