### 2/5 — More cons than pros.

In the beginning it was a good app, not as good as Para was but way more than serviceable. However, as of 2/5/26, the main feature of the app broke; it doesn’t read the screenshots anymore and calculate the offer. So far, these are the pros and cons I’ve noticed:

Pros: 
-Fairly easy to setup and clear instructions. 

-Takes the guesswork and/or mental calculations off of your hands so you can focus on trips and the tasks at hand. 

-Multiple tools keep track of mileage, maintenance, and business spending. 

-Custom and premade messages to send to customers to keep an open line of communication going. 

Cons: 
-The calculations take too long sometimes and more recently take longer than the offer stays on the screen. 

-While the app is running your phone will get REALLY hot. 

-When connected to CarPlay, it will read BOTH screenshots. 

-Again, when connected to CarPlay, the notification sound does not play which means focusing on the phone screen while driving. 

-The notification sound is whatever one you got set on your phone for general notifs so there’s no differentiating between them. 

-After a while of not using the app, and it has been getting shorter and shorter, the app will shut off and you have to back in and turn on the feature again. 

-As stated in the beginning, now the app isn’t even reading or acknowledging the screenshots anymore. 

As it stands, there’s no reason for me to pay for something that doesn’t work as intended.

The purpose of the app is great, but it performs calculations quite slowly. Improving its speed would make it much more effective.

**Developer response:** KorayKncCa thans for the feedback, RideShare calculations were optimized to run in less than 2 seconds. Hope this helps unless you use it for Uber Eats or DoorDash. Its a scam app

The app asks what country you are working in but only has a USA option

**Developer response:** There is Canada option. Check the version you have, it should be 1.3, Apple released initially the wrong version. Sorry about that. I’m not sure why I have to keep resetting it for it to work. I live the idea of it. But if it can’t read the screen shots or do it in a timely manner then I can’t use it. It’s a paid app. Use the money to fix it.

Unfortunately the Driver Power app does not work for me. I even reached out to the developers for help, but they never responded. I’m pretty sure it’s no longer being updated or supported. Shame, because the premise is great, the unique workaround is clever, & it’s the type of app/company I’d like to support. 

There’s an urgent need (aka market opportunity) for apps that can push back against companies like Uber who are squeezing the life out of their drivers & customers.

App does not show up in the folder. Nothing pops up for the ride. Message for assistance fails to send every time. $3 a week for nothing. And apparently no service.

Way to complicated to set up on iPhone 15 so many setting to customize in phone. Not worth the hassle.

Can’t switch to Canadian KM and fuel economy calculations, so all of your data is sort of pointless as it’s not accurate. They charge a $10 subscription which would be fine if their features actually worked. 

Developers your app needs work, I’d be happy to pay for it if you actually took the time to fix it. I’ll change it to 5 stars once you’ve fixed all of the features for the Canadian Market.

Love it when it works. Crashes every five minutes. Calculations don’t show until 2 minutes after the offer as timed out. Freezes the phone. I don’t think I should pay for it. It should be free.
