It tracked one trip for me. Afterwards it gave time and distance. Showed me my route on a map. That’s it. Didn’t show any real data to help with any driving stuff like acceleration or braking or speeds or turning like it says. I came back later to the app and even the route was gone. No way to access the historical route data It still has the log of the time and distance. It did not rate my trip as described. Pretty lame. Pretty much all Features don’t work. I deleted it after one use. Needs a ton of work.

Driver Tracer is designed to process your driving route and slope-based data in the background. We have never stated in our app descriptions or features that we provide raw data such as harsh braking, rapid acceleration, or driving scores. We utilize these data points (acceleration, slope, speed, etc.) strictly in the background to run our algorithms and provide you with the most accurate fuel analysis; you only see the final result of this complex process. The primary reason we do not display these metrics in the frontend while you are driving is to ensure you do not get distracted, as your driving safety is our top priority.

Regarding the data issues you experienced, we would like to clarify the following technical details:

Data Storage and Privacy: Your route data is stored directly on your own device. If your route data was not recorded, please ensure that you have granted "Always" location tracking permissions.

Internet Connection: To significantly increase the app's performance and processing capacity, map data is pulled instantly from the internet (it works online). If you are offline, map data may not load correctly.
