Live route tracking. While a driver has an active route in progress, the app sends the vehicle's GPS location to the dispatch office in the background — including when the app is backgrounded or the screen is off — so the office can monitor the bus in real time and update the estimated arrival time at each stop. Background tracking runs only from "Start Route" until the route is completed, is shown by an ongoing notification, and does not run when no route is active.
