Uber and Lyft Drivers can now chat with their colleagues on DC! Just pick your city's chatroom and start chatting with other rideshare drivers close to you. Planning on driving in another city? Start chatting with drivers in that city to get to learn more about the new city's requirements and driving culture. DC even allows you to create a friends-list with whom you could send Direct Messages. Some Things to Chat About: Surges and Prime Time Airport wait times Unionization Strikes Pay Share your location and find nearby drivers to hangout with during your down time. Want to remain anonymous? Yup, this app has that feature too. All these features are packed in one simple-to-use chat application for drivers that is Ultra-Secure with end-to-end encryption and safe from the prying eyes and ears of the TNC companies. We authenticate each driver to make sure they are real. In fact, under federal law it would be a crime for a TNC company to violate our Terms of Service by attempting to monitor any data exchanged in-app. Welcome to DC! We're just getting started. We plan on introducing a set of voice, video, walkie-talkie, image/video sharing, and create-your-own-chatroom features in the near future. We intend to incorporate many other features that would be considered core-companion features for rideshare drivers. I can’t edit it, add to it or change the anon beamed that was also put in automatically...can’t rate it when I can’t even login to try it but great idea! Please fix😕 **Developer response:** Your User and Anonymous names must begin with your first name and Anon, respectively, but you may choose whatever suffix you may like. For example, Jason may choose Jason123 or Jason_Driver as his username, and Anon0123 or AnonYmous as his Anon-name. ### 2/5 — Good in theory *2020-03-04, version 1.2* Unable to edit or add username. Seems like a great idea though! **Developer response:** Username is selected upon creation of an account and begins with your first name. The suffix of the username is what ever you decide to choose. This is done so that other users may reference you by your first name. If you ever wish to chat anonymously then you're free to do so (you can edit your anonymous username at any time!).
