However, lots of problems getting the certificate and I ended up having to shell out an extra $30 to get it. I ordered the certificate on February 7, and - when it hadn’t arrived - ordered it again on February 17. Both times I was assured that it would be put in the mail the next day, but I never received either copy. The company insists that both copies must have gotten lost by USPS (which seems highly unlikely). I finally agreed to shell out $30 to get the certificate sent by fedex, and so finally received it on February 25. I never did get anything from the post office that was postmarked Feb 8 or Feb 18, but I did eventually get a certificate in the mail that was postmarked February 25 - nearly three weeks after we finished the course and a day after I sent them $30 (which they are declining to refund). I’d look elsewhere for a drivers ed course unless you’re prepared to add $30 onto the cost of the course. ### 3/5 — Not the best customer service *2019-12-23* I bought the lesson and the audio update but when I bought the audio upgrade I received it but when I bought the lesson it says I purchased it but it didn’t give me the lesson got with customer service and it seemed like they knew nothing about this service they also said they couldn’t do anything about till Monday I bought this on Friday so they said they’ll give me a call back on Monday about it I got no call but I got on the phone with them and it was even worse customer service they did nothing about it but when I got a new agent on email they took care of the problem fast and I got my lessons thank you to Beverly D for the fast and way better service cause I would have done a one star if it wasn’t for you ### 1/5 — Payment issue *2019-11-30, version 3.6.3(2)* I used up my free trial and came back to the app a week later and payed the full course and everything off and it still says I need to pay which makes no sense. ### 1/5 — Terrible *2019-09-27, version 3.6.3(2)* I paid money for this and all of a sudden my “free trial” is over???? That depends on the state in which you are taking the course. When you select a state on the homescreen, a message will appear letting you know whether you can get the permit through the app or if it is just for practice. Currently, you can get your permit completely through our app in California and Texas. We are working to bring other states to the app with full state DMV approval soon! ### 1/5 — Payment *2019-05-26* When I first bought the app it let me go through the course very easily. Then I forgot all about the app due to personal reasons, but I was on 42% completing the course. I came back to finish my course but it said I needed to pay again because I used up my “free trail.” I was confused at first but I continued to pay anyways, then I did and it told me that I had already purchased the course so if I would like it for free? Obviously I said yes so it gave it to me for free but when I clicked on the the button to go back where I left off on 42% of the course, it took me back to square one saying “you have finished your free trail.” Please help **Developer response:** This message may have appeared because your course expired. Per the Terms of Use during registration, "You will have 90 days (3 months) from the date of enrollment to complete your online course through DETG unless otherwise stated [...] If you do not complete your course within this period of time, your DETG account will be de-activated and no refunds of your course fee shall be issued. If your DETG account is de-activated and you want to re-activate it, additional fees shall apply." If it has been less than 90 days but you are still seeing this message, you can contact customer support by phone--1-800-749-4445--or email--info@driveredtogo.com--and they will be able to resolve any issues you are experiencing. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Can never login *2026-03-21* I’ve been trying for about an hour to login into my account and it keeps telling me I have the wrong email and password when I’ve reset the password and this is the only email we’ve used for the app. ### 1/5 — Awful *2024-04-10, version 3.6.6* Wont let me into my account, it says I have the wrong password. I know I don’t, I created the account today. I tried to reset my password and it says it’ll send me an email but it doesnt. ### 1/5 — Horrible *2022-09-14* Don’t waste your time or money on this! Customer service is awful as well and they are very hard to understand. I paid the $40 for the full course and on the app it said i didnt but i was charged. I contacted them they asked for a receipt so i provided that through email. It has been almost 3 WEEKS and no response back from that email i sent . Ive called and was told twice they would call back and i havent recieved any response back. I work in customer service and i am a very patient person and have never had to write a negative review but after my horrible experience with this program i urge people not to buy. ### 1/5 — Can’t login *2021-04-10* I made an account yesterday and I was gonna start working on it today. I opened the app today and put in my login and password and it said one of them was wrong. When I pressed forgot password it sent me an email TELLING ME MY EMAIL and not my password. I’d would really not like to spend another 36$ and make a new account. It’s so hard to get through all the chapters and there is so much. They don’t refund you even if you barley started the course. Definitely not worth your time and money.
