It’s weird—they sent 2 of us a message saying they’d send $$ for our review, but didn’t follow thru for either. I’d guess we’re not the only ones. ### 4/5 — Great app *2023-06-29, version 4.2.9* I work for a privately owned food delivery company and we use this app for our orders, to check in, review orders including post orders/pay and to communicate with dispatch. It works great on my iPhone 13 Pro max. I’ve never used it with any other phone so i can only say that glitches are rare to none! I’ve literally had one single issue EVER! And it’s possible it was my signal that caused it. It was a delayed message. I also like that you’re able to track your earnings. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Car hop never paid me *2024-05-24, version 4.2.9* It’s been almost a year I still haven’t been paid by carhop for work performed back in Sept 2023. ### 1/5 — This app is awful *2023-06-20* The mapping on this app is just awful, it runs you all over. It gives you orders across town instead of ones you are sitting right next to. Way to many screens to deal w while trying to drive. Notifications only work part of the time. The app isn’t letting the drivers see the apartment number and suite numbers, so you have to call the customer everytime. The list goes on! It’s so bad they are paying people to write a 4 or 5 star review for them! I personally wouldn’t recommend this app to anyone. **Developer response:** Thank you for the review. We have noted this and will work on improving this. Please get in contact with your local delivery service and have them reach out to us to diagnose your specific issues. It could be related to your specific version of your phone or software version. ### 1/5 — I hate the update. *2023-01-08, version 4.1.7* With the newest update, you can’t see what your total is with cash and how much you’re owed. It only shows you what you’re owed. I want to see how much I’m owed and how much I have gotten in cash like it was before the update. At least give the option to choose what you want to see on your running balance. **Developer response:** We have made updates since this version. I must have blocked 26 numbers in the last month. I text back to a number that doesn’t work. I can’t log on to the app. I put my email address then password it never log me on. Then they send me ridiculous messages about promotions and to log on back to back but no HELP or response regardless how to get on or NO support team to talk to or write. It has been annoying me because I can’t communicate that I need help. And why send me back to back text from different numbers. It’s harassment at this point. I wish they would stop sending me messages. I am sick of blocking them and they send from different numbers that is computerized. ### 1/5 — The worst, most useless app *2021-04-01, version 3.1.5* I’m forced to use this app for my job, but I have to say, it is absolutely the worst designed, worst performing, piece of sh__ app ever created. It inevitably fails at every juncture. In fact, this is the fourth time I’ve had to delete and re-download it as I’m typing! The last time I checked, it was still spinning.... trying to give me information it might have processed along the way. If I ruled the world, this app would not be available- but I don’t and the people I work for, are addicted to it for some reason. However, every time i enter, exit, or lock my phone with the app open, it pauses my music and map system. This is a huge issue, especially the maps thing. Also, the text box in chat is white, but the text you type is also white.
