I work full-time in the gig economy and have used many different tools to help determine whether a delivery or rideshare offer is worth accepting. As delivery platforms continue cracking down on automated apps, I wanted a safer solution that wouldn’t put my account at risk. DriverPal filled that gap perfectly. What I appreciate most is that it provides the information and insights I need while leaving the decision-making entirely in my hands. There’s no automation, no risk of violating platform policies, and no concern about being deactivated for using tools that simply help you work more efficiently. Many people have an ethical dilemma with “CherryPicking”. (I’m not one of them) this app just does the math when offers come up and displays the data in a notification so you can quickly make good decisions within the 10 second window you have to accept offers. The only reason RideShare companies don’t list this information themselves is because they are counting on users not being able to spot low paying offers. If every driver used this app and stopped accepting terrible rates, these companies would be forced to pay us more per mile. Some rides got rated. Many had no rating. Phantom rides that weren’t on uber. No clear way to cancel. Maybe it’s not for me. Pricy lesson. But also hate it. *2026-05-18* I love that it gives me the information I’m looking for. But I hate that it does screen broadcasting. Was there no other option? I can’t even play music while using this app, my ratings have gone down because of it. The reason behind screen broadcasting is that we need to capture offer information from the screen to give you the best and most accurate offer analysis and help you make the fastest and most accurate decision, we know that this might not be the preferred method for you and many customers, however the only alternative is for you to login with your actual gig platform account, which we find to be even more intrusive and can actually lead to your gig platform account being banned, thus as a team we decided this is the best way as you still have full control over your device and gig account. As for playing music, the only music platform that is not compatible with DriverPal is Apple Music, and that is due to the strict DRM protection that Apple has for the artist's intellectual property and Apple's own framework will not allow Apple Music and screen broadcasting to be compatible, this was an early issue discovered and reported by many customers and the team as spent many days to figure out work arounds for this issue, and it ended up being a compatibility issue, so we are very sorry about that, and we know how frustrating that is when all your favorite music is on Apple Music, but we also do respect Apple's decision as we are mostly Apple Music users ourselves. We are sorry that you are leaving DriverPal, we are constantly trying to improve the app and hopefully in the near future we can find solutions to your concerns. It’s a quick way to glance at your phone and see if an offer is worth your time or not. The only reason I rated 4 stars and not 5, is because I wish the text on the offer flag was a little larger. If this is something I havent figured out how to correct yet, I’ll come back and rate 5 stars. There are a few suggestions I have, but none I can think of at the time of this writing. This is the setup I have while the iPad is mounted in the car, so having this work would be really great. Please look into it! Sometimes, the $/mi and $/hr calculation is incorrect. Uber offers some really silly 40p per mile rubbish. Using this app you can set your limit, it’ll tell you if it’s a good offer (above your set limit) or bad (below). After using it for a month it really is fantastic and the developer/developers seem to keep improving on it more and more. If you drive uber or bolt. It’s an absolute must have, there are other alternatives but nothing compares to the ease of driver pal and for the price.
