1. The 50 rupee booking token - understandable, but why not allow one to pay via the drive u wallet? The point of recharging the in-app wallet is to avoid these payment hassles. It’s plain annoying to make these 50 rupee transactions for each booking. 2. If I go for daily drivers and pay 200 upfront, it’s still useless because the drivers don’t get assigned and the booking token is refunded and then you’re back to making those 50 rupee transactions - frustrating. 3. The option to mark a driver as
Preferred driver is almost hidden - what’s the point? 4. Drivers that you rate poorly are still reassigned - why? Why are we rating the drivers at all? 5. Support is almost too late to help with reassignments. 6. The so called plus drivers are often rash or rude - why again are we paying a premium for them?
Updating this review with a fresh nonsense. The driver came, started the trip, then 5 mins into it - got off the vehicle, ended the trip because he didn’t have time to finish the trip - because traffic would’ve led to the trip ending a few mins later than the total booking time. SO HE THOUGHT IT IS APPROPRIATE TO ABANDON THE CUSTOMER, VEHICLE all of it. WHAT KIND OF A SCAM ARE YOU RUNNING? Support was useless and clueless as always! A basic apology and a bare minimum refund also had to be extracted out of the useless support team!

Updating this review with furthermore disappointment. Apparently they don’t have the basic option to block a driver that you have reported several times from accepting your rides and so if a driver you explicitly do not wish to ride with accepts your booking over which apparently nobody has any control - it is your problem to deal with. You have to report it to their useless and unempathetic support team every single time, only to hear that act cocky in their own sweet time. Pathetic. Just pathetic. Switching to alternatives now seems unavoidable now. What a horribly poor management DRIVEU TEAM!

I have used the service a handful of times. It was ok for a few times but recently after I have purchased its black membership, it just got much worse. Two days in a row a driver doesn’t show up at the expected time even though I booked 12 hours in advance. The first day, a driver was never assigned; when I reached out to customer service, they were helpful to work internally and found me a driver who would arrive half an hour later. The second day, a driver was assigned but he was not responding. The customer service was awful. All she could say was I am sorry! 

I was planning to use this regularly twice a week at a set time, but unfortunately its services has become too unreliable. The worst part is that its beautiful platform gives you the delusion that it’s great service, but it only masks inefficiency and  unreliability.

Booked a local 12 hrs trip for 4 am the day before and starting at 1 am of driveu rotating through more than 12 drivers and me calling 3 or 4 of them, not one driver confirmed the trip and I ended up cancelling the trip. This is a serious issue, udrive can't find a reliable driver in time and you are left by yourself to figure out your trip last minute. One driver told me he hasn't slept in 2 days and cannot take the trip. Drivers are your assets, only if you take care of them will they care about driveru. 

Worst experience for local trips. Previous outstation trips were fine.

I recently utilized DriveU for my travel needs this past Friday and Saturday, and the experience was nothing short of outstanding. If you are looking for a reliable, professional, and safe on-demand driver service, I highly recommend this platform.
Experience Highlights: 
 Professionalism at its Best: My assigned driver, Sanjay was exemplary. Throughout the entire two-day journey, he maintained a high level of professionalism, ensuring a smooth and comfortable ride.
Promptness & Availability: 
One of the standout features of the service was Sanjay’s availability. Every time we requested a pickup, he arrived immediately without any hesitation. His punctuality made our schedule significantly easier to manage.
 Safety & Trust: As a user, safety is always a primary concern. DriveU proved to be a very secure and trustworthy platform, providing peace of mind throughout the trip.
Final Verdict:
The seamless coordination between the app and the driver made for an "awesome" experience. I am thoroughly impressed with the quality of service provided by Sanjay and the DriveU team.
Recommendation: 10/10. I will definitely be using this service again and encourage others to do the same!

I’ve had repeated disappointing experiences with DriveU, and this no longer feels like a one-off issue but a serious operational problem.

Drivers get assigned and then quietly reassigned to other trips without any update on the app. The app continues to show “Driver Reserved,” while the driver themselves confirms they’ve been removed. Even support provides incorrect information until the last minute, leaving you stranded with no time to make alternate arrangements.

What’s worse is the lack of accountability—issues are brushed off with scripted responses, and customers are left to chase drivers, verify bookings, and push support to fix things. At that point, it feels like you’re doing their job.

The “priority driver” charge is also questionable. When the standard service itself is unreliable, asking customers to pay extra for something that should already work feels unfair.

Overall, the app lacks transparency, reliability, and basic customer support ownership. Until these gaps are fixed, it’s hard to trust the service for anything time-sensitive.

Using this app has been an incredibly frustrating experience characterized by a complete lack of reliability and professional standards. The most glaring issue is the severe shortage of available drivers, which leads to a staggering 90% cancellation rate on my booking attempts. It is nearly impossible to depend on this service for timely transportation when the platform consistently fails to secure a ride. Furthermore, the company’s billing practices are highly unprofessional, often involving unexpected or inconsistent charges that lack transparency. To make matters worse, the customer service department is the worst I have encountered, offering no meaningful assistance when issues arise. Instead of resolving disputes or addressing the frequent cancellations, the support team remains dismissive and unhelpful. This combination of poor infrastructure and bad management makes the app feel like a waste of time and money. I have found it impossible to trust a service that cannot provide its core offering while simultaneously mishandling financial transactions. You are much better off using a competitor that values its customers and maintains a functional fleet of drivers. Save yourself the headache and avoid downloading this app until they undergo a complete operational overhaul.

DriveU is an absolute lifesaver.

Be careful to use this app. I would like to share my experience. I used this app for 6-7 rides and the last ride it got out of hands. I booked the ride and driver never answered my call(I called him twice and have all the proofs) so I decided to drive on my own. When I started driving then received a call from driver but I told him that now I don’t need you bcz I have started my journey. Driver started abusing me and called me back to back for next 2 hours. So I raised my complaint to the customer support but they never helped me instead they started saying bad words too. Then i realised that this is very unsafe and deleted the app forever.
