### 5/5 — Thank you!

Excellent idea. Great implementation! Works perfectly. Thanks for creating this.

### 5/5 — Best drive tracker out there!

*2026-07-09*

I’ve been using this app for almost two years now and couldn’t be happier. It’s lightweight and not too taxing on battery as other similar apps are, but still provides great useful features that make it perfect for tracking my driving. It can be integrated with the shortcuts app to run automations making it even easier to use and the data can be exported very easily. The developers are also very responsive to suggestions and best of all it’s free! Highly recommend.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2026-06-19, version 2.9*

I log all my work travel for easy claims. Great support for shortcuts and widgets. Frequently updated, always works, very reliable. It’s an easy app to recommend!

### 1/5 — Running in place

*2026-03-29*

I need to play nearly $100 a year to easily calculate my miles to save money that is immediately eaten up by the premium cost? That's a non starter right there

**Developer response:** Hi there,
Thanks for your feedback. We understand your concern. The amount you mentioned is not charged per year. It is a one-time payment for lifetime access to all Pro features. If you prefer, we also offer a subscription option at about one-third of that price per year.
If you have any questions or need help, feel free to contact us at drivey@cubeon-solutions.de

### 1/5 — 👎🏻🤮bad

I do not like this approach from developers, when a subscription system is suddenly introduced without adding any new functionality, and previous users are simply expected to start paying. A subscription model is perfectly normal in itself if it is backed by actual app development: new features, improvements, interface refinements, and genuinely useful changes. But in this case, none of that is visible.
No new functionality has appeared, and the existing features are still poorly implemented. The app does not provide proper display of GPS track data, and the visualization also looks poor and falls behind competing apps both in usability and in visual quality. Compared with other apps on the market that display tracks much more clearly and in a much more appealing way, this app looks frankly weak.
I see no point in paying for a subscription, especially at such an unreasonable price, in this situation. Does the developer really think such a price can be charged just because it is lifetime? First, I would like to see real product development and improvements to the functions that already exist. As it stands, the developer has been ignoring feedback for more than a year, and I cannot recommend this app. On the contrary, I do not recommend buying it.
——

### 5/5 — Best value for a mileage tracking app

*2026-02-09*

My wife is a self employed wedding and corporate event planner who drives a lot of miles for work every year. I tried out dozens of mileage / expense tracking apps and didn’t like any of them. The ones that were half way decent had either been abandoned by the developer or were too expensive (at least in my opinion). The ones that were decent, and not too expensive, offered tracking (automatic or manual start) but not the ability to manually add a trip that was not tracked.

My wife is not tech savvy so I needed an app that was either simple to use or that I could make simple to use. She’s also got a bad case of ADD so I needed an app that either would automatically start tracking or that I could come up with a way to make it auto track on its own or a way to start it that my wife would easily remember. Enter Drivey. First I started by putting the Drivey widget on her Home Screen but she kept forgetting to tap start. Then I remembered that Shortcuts has the ability to automate running Shortcuts via NFC. So I ordered 10 NFC stickers off of Amazon ($6), created the automation for it to run the Trip Manager Shortcut Drivey provides, made a couple edits to auto tag as business and ask for notes about the trip, and then put the sticker in my wife’s car. Now when she is driving for work she taps her phone before starting to drive and taps it again when she arrives. If she has time she’ll add notes when the Shortcut prompts her. Otherwise I have it set up to create a reminder for that evening.

Drivey is awesome and I can’t recommend it enough. Get it and whether or not you need the pro features go ahead and pay for them to help support the continued development of Drivey. I really want this app to stay around for a long time.

### 5/5 — No-hassle mileage tracking

*2026-01-07*

I needed an app that tracks my work mileage and found this in a forum post while looking for an app that can be automated with Shortcuts and Automation. There's no bloat or confusing options, it's very straightforward.

### 5/5 — Automationen

*2026-01-06, version 2.8.2*

Automatische Fahrt Aufzeichnung dank Automationen. Danke an den Entwickler.

### 1/5 — Cost

*2025-12-31*

no indication on how much this cost until you download it. A monthly service charge or even a yearly lifetime charge is ridiculous for the lack of functionality here.

### 5/5 — Service bei Nachfrage

*2025-11-04, version 2.8.1*
