We were anxious because there were ZERO tests available at any test centre even remotely near to us. I decided to pay £20 for the auto book option as I know that unless we were there immediately when we got a notification, we would miss any cancellation that came up and we both work a lot. Anyway, we set the preferences and sure enough a test came up and was auto-booked for us. We originally had a test booked at a centre 1.5 hours away which was not ideal at all but it was a test so we took it. Now we have one at the local test centre. It’s for August (we set it to book any test it could find us in our town) but we are keeping on the app and are confident that we will get a test before July. I used this app for nearly 2 months and not a single driving test was booked. When the account is not set to “automatically book,” it sends constant notifications from morning to evening about available test dates, but when you click to book them, they never go through they feel like ghost or fake slots. I thought switching to automatic booking would improve things, but after 2 months, still no results at all. A waste of money and time. It’s quiet for weeks and I don’t trust that it’s ever truly searching. When I first got it it did find me a test but it took so long “checking” and loading that of course someone got there first. Tests go in miliseconds, if an app takes 10+ minutes to change your test it will literally never do so successfully. Rubbish. I saw others get cancellations direct with DVSA, but at no point was I offered anything at all. In the end I managed to get a cancellation direct with DVSA, again nothing offered through the app. I asked for my money back but was asked to claim from Apple who have a cut-off point of 90 days. Clearly I was too patient. Just to reiterate, I confirmed I had set the app up correctly. I set a clear deadline well in advance for securing a driving test date, and the system failed to find anything by that timeframe. I ended up having to search and book manually myself, which defeats the purpose of paying for this service. When I requested a refund, it was refused on the basis that I changed the test outside their system — even though I only did so because they failed to produce results within the agreed period. Not good value and refund handling was disappointing. ### 1/5 — Terrible app and is a scam *2026-02-08, version 2.0.3351* I paid for the premium service(which is more expensive then other apps) and thought that I would be able to finally get a cancellation as I had seen all the notifications it used to send me before. After buying the service I never got my test automatically changed even after changing the settings and whenever I got a notification saying a test was available, the moment I clicked it it would just say the test is no longer available. Just don’t buy this app there are other better ones. (EDIT) After reading the response from the developer I can even more confidently say that you should not get this app. They describe how there aren’t always tests available and so it is subject to availability. Three days after buying the app called test shift, which is far better than this one, I had my test so really there is just a problem with this app. They also said that for the reason that they may not be able to get a cancellation they offer refunds… don’t fall for it. After emailing them I was told that I could only ask Apple for a refund and I was denied my refund without any explanation. So I lost my £20 and was asked to re-pay after failing a test so that I could use the service. This app will just make you get your hopes up and you will never actually get your cancellation. This is because I had my filters too narrow. I highly recommend choosing at least 2-3 test locations and choosing for it to automatically book for you (you can always change later if it doesn’t work). I suspect the closer to the test date, the easier it is to get a cancellation. Within days of me expanding my test area, I had a test booked for two weeks later which gave me time to have 2 lessons to point out where testers give faults (certain tricky intersections, etc.).
