IF IT GOES WELL ILL REVIEW 5 STARS AGAIN

### 5/5 — Great App!!

*2026-03-04, version 1.10*

A very useful app for learning driving theory, would strongly recommend! :)

### 5/5 — It did the job, but..

*2026-01-30*

I passed my theory with the help of this app on the first attempt. Although it didn’t cover all the questions, there were around 11 on real test, that I saw for the first time

### 5/5 — Passed first time

*2026-01-22*

Used it 3hrs a week, 4 weeks before my test and passed super easy and the mobile app has performance tracking

### 5/5 — Great app

*2025-12-05*

I passed first time using this app, it helped me on all sectors. Pricing is good for the unlimited version but the baseline version is still good if you don’t mind the adds.

### 5/5 — Fantastic App

*2025-11-24*

Highly recommended, well worth the small fee just to practice the hazard perception videos.

### 5/5 — Best App by FAR!

*2025-10-22, version 1.9*

Passed with flying colours thanks to this!

### 5/5 — Great app

*2025-09-03*

Great app, I’m 35 years old, did exams every day for a couple of weeks, passed the real test first time.
Highly recommend

### 5/5 — Invaluable

*2025-08-27, version 1.8*

The app was extremely helpful and a must as part of revision for the theory test.

### 5/5 — So helpful…

*2025-08-17*

Got this on a Sunday evening, took test less than 48hours later on Tuesday morning - 49/50 because this app helped learn HOW they ask the questions! Thank you

### 5/5 — Scarily good

*2025-07-26*

Some of the questions on this app came up word for word on my actual theory test. It’s a really good app.

**Developer response:** Congratulations on your pass and thanks for your review!

### 5/5 — 49/50 and 63/75

*2025-07-22, version 1.7*

Passed my test, so I guess I’m happy

### 5/5 — Good learning

*2025-07-19*

Very nice app with everything you would need to attend a test, however, the downside of it is, that after you’ve done everything, it doesn’t allow you to reset and do it again from the start, all the answers are marked as done, even though, I’ve logged out, and logged in again, and deleted the app and reinstalled it.
Thank you!

**Developer response:** Thank you for your review.

To reset your progress, go to settings -> "Reset Progress". This should reset everything you've done in the app.

It's probably too late to do this now though.

### 5/5 — Fantastic app, very useful.

*2025-06-29*

This app helped me pass my Theory test first time. It was really handy to be able to practice the questions over and over again, as well as being able to correct any wrong answers, rather than read a huge chunk of writing and hopefully memorise it. It was also useful to be able to see my progress and be able to work on areas I was otherwise not so confident. Thanks app creators! 💫

**Developer response:** 🎉🎉🎉

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Not good to buy

*2025-09-12, version 1.8*

I bought this for the hazard perception test but every 2 hazard scene is faulty. You can click the first hazard scene 5 times no problem but just one click on the 2nd hazard says you are over clicking. This happens on every single 2 hazard video. Wasted my money.

### 2/5 — Out of date

*2025-06-24*

Thought it was good until I did my test. Only 5 or 6 questions from this app were on the test. None of the hazard perception videos were on the test. The actual test had a couple of scenario questions, which was unexpected.

**Developer response:** We use DVSA's licensed materials. I can assure you that the questions are up-to-date and used by many many people that pass with ease. Yours is the first negative experience I've come across.

Good luck next time.

### 3/5 — Questions are not up to date

*2026-02-02*

Lots of questions are missing on the app compared to one of the website, app need to update to the current questions on the website. Apart from that the app is awesome

### 4/5 — A clear and easy route to theory test success.

*2026-08-06*

I decided to renew my theory test again for the first time in several years before I attempted learning to drive again, and saw this app had been used by a family member. Even with the small fee of £4 to pay for unlimited use of it now, I found it well worth it: the app makes learning the answers easy, both to memorise the relevant answers and understand the logic behind them. With a handy store of any mistakes, it’s easy to test yourself on weaker areas too. Equally, it allows you to understand the Hazard Perception test setup quite easily, even if the margins for success seem quite brutal in some examples - I’d recommend watching some secondary YT videos regarding a method for making sure you don’t click too early.

I took my theory test yesterday and, with this app’s support, passed by 49/50 in my answers and 65/75 for Hazard Perception - thanks!

The only area I’d really recommend improving for the app is having a randomised “test” of 14 Hazard Perception examples, rather than viewing them individually. It both feels better to see if your approach is being applied consistently and effectively across the length of an actual test (to see if you could theoretically pass), as well as being a more effective means of testing the user. I found myself coming back to the same examples to better my score on niche examples, rather than developing a standard that I felt particularly confident in (something that the “average” score encourages you to do). That’s why I ended up doing said Hazard Perception tests to prepare myself at my PC, rather than using the app, to ensure my quality was consistent, ahead of my actual test.

Regardless of my suggestion, it’s a strong app and I’m grateful to the devs for having it here. I feel confident and clued up ahead of my future time out on the road. Good luck, everyone!

### 4/5 — Great app

*2026-06-01*

Great app - but having a problem with the videos. Only work in portrait on the iPad not landscape so it cuts off some of the hazards.

### 4/5 — Pretty good so far!

*2026-03-09*

I’ve only given it four stars purely for the fact that I haven’t done my test yet, it’s worth the £5 a month subscription, I only paid it once because I planned it out, pay the subscription once, take a month to revise and book your theory in for the end. Hopefully when I come back I will have passed but it’s honestly great

**Developer response:** The app doesn't require a subscription - it's a 3.99 one-time purchase. The subscription is only for the website i.e. if you wish to use multiple devices to study like a computer / phone. If you are happy to study using your iPhone / iPad, you don't need the website subscription.

I hope this helps.

### 4/5 — Very good

*2025-07-04*

This app is very good don’t get me wrong, its got all the relevant information and is very helpful as it gives an explanation after each question is answered. Only issue I had it that I had to pay twice. I first used the website on my computer, made an account and payed £5. I downloaded the app thinking that if I had it I can log in and I won’t need to pay however after downloading it I had to pay again. It’s not really a big issue but it would make sense if I only had to pay once

**Developer response:** I see the issue here. You've probably forgot to log-in on the mobile into the same account, and that's why the payment was prompted. If you log-in with the same email/password account as the on the website, you would have access PLUS syncing across multi-devices. You are correct that you should only pay once.

Having said that, if you message me on georgy@theorypass.co.uk, with your details I will refund you on of the payments.

Congratulations on your pass.

### 5/5 — review of the app

*2026-07-21*

absolutely amazing, i have used multiple apps that only provide quizzes. this app shows you what you got wrong, which areas you need to study/improve, exam readiness percentage and so much more. i mean you do have to pay £4 for a better experience but it is totally worth it.

### 5/5 — Excellent app

*2026-07-19*

Easy to use, lots of practice questions, and very helpful for passing the theory test. Highly recommend.

## Most praised reviews (7 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2026-06-04*

I downloaded this app around a month ago, my theory test was this morning.

I am best at storing information short termly and so I did most of my revision less than 12 hours before the exam.

I completed all of the topics to the best of my ability, along with the hazard perception videos and then moved on to the section showing the questions I answered incorrectly.

Within a few hours I passed 10 mock tests consecutively, and this morning I passed my theory with ease. I received a result of 46/50 on Multiple Choice and 61/75 on Hazard Perception.

I highly recommend this app!

### 5/5 — Wow

*2026-06-01*

Amazing app, paid for the monthly subscription and gives you an up to date tracker on progress. Any mistakes made are then flagged and made into another test to help correct. Hazard perceptions are clear and easy to use.
