I had to grab the drone and take the battery out while it was in the air, luckily it wasn’t too high up. After taking off again I noticed it was not anywhere near as stable on either gps mode as it was before. The drone was also shaking and unstable. I’ll try again soon and see how it goes. ### 3/5 — Be aware *2018-03-14, version 1.6* I have noticed several comments about how people have lost contact or control of their drones. After using the DronePan app it is necessary to reconnect the drone to the DJI app. Switch it back and forth 3 or 4 times and you regain control. This is the same as regaining control if it returns to home. A case of read the manual. ### 2/5 — Crashes *2017-11-14, version 1.6* App crashes after every single pano I make. Lost control of my drone on a couple occasions and the last two times I tried to use the app (today) it failed to even complete the picture taking process. After it completed the pano I completely lost control of the drone, unresponsive. It just sat there hovering and the DJI Go app would not control it. I had to use return to home to get it back. It would take several pictures but the drone wouldn’t pan and then it would say that it failed to take a picture. To make matters worse when I returned to the DJI app I couldn’t move or pan the drone. I had to hit the return to home button on the controller before I could regain control. I've used Drone Pan on all three of my Drones and other than a couple of times facing directly into the sun (forgot my camera hood) I've really had no problems with this program!!? Which makes me wonder under what situations the people who stated they had problems had?? The only time I had an issue was when DJI HAD A VERY buggy firmware update but that was corrected in a couple of days! Although the DJI App is great, there are no automated panorama ability. This App supports that and most importantly the DJI Mavic Pro. Just ensure that the settings are configured properly to get a good 360 shot. 8 shots by 4 rows and 2 downward shots is the most efficient settings to cover a good 360. Also ensure that the height of the flight is above 40 meters, otherwise it can get a bit skewed. ### 5/5 — Works great!
